Things to do in Layton
We had a craving for frozen yogurt or ice cream one night while staying across the street at a hotel and walked over to this store. We basically they can make full fat ice cream, custard, lo fat ice cream, non fat yogurt, and even make frozen desserts from almond, coconut, or soy milk. The cream is put into a gown. What ever flavor you could possibly imagine. Then you could add anything from fresh fruit, to candy, to cookies, to marshmallows. Then they "flash freeze" it with liquid nitrogen. I had mint flavored ice cream with oreo cookie pieces in it. I even had them make a frozen treat for my dogs out of unsweetened coconut milk and adding peanut butter. They LOVED it. And no stomach upset from "dairy".The cost is more than 31 flavors, but more along the line of Coldstone. It's a neat concept and fun to do occasionally.
This just opened and it was the first time I had been there! The service was awesome! I loved the wings! I ordered the Hawaiian ! I just gave them a 4 instead of 5 because it was really strong in garlic! I want to try the other flavors ! I would recommend it highly!

We have never been to a PANDA EXPRESS and decided to try it out. We had peppered chicken, chow mein and fried rice. Fast service, reasonable prices but the food was underwhelming. Normally we go to sit down restaurants, and we find some great places to eat Asian food, especially in Salt Lake City and its burbs. After this experience, I would not eat there again. . . average at best.
Unfortunately I walked in at the high school lunch time. I was number 14 in line. Ugh...FINALLY got to order and went with my favorite sandwich. One of the staff members was trying waaaaay to hard to be the super friendly guy. Thank heavens the food was good.

The location here has yummy salad. If you are looking to experience something different than Cafe Rio give Chipotle a try. Chipotle is not my favorite restaurant, but when I do go the food is really good and full of flavor. If you are watching your calories you can get a pork salad for 700 calories compared to Cafe Rio salad which is more like 1400 calories. Good size portions not too big, just right.

This place is quick and the food is delicious. My favorite entrees are the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, the Aloha Mango Salad and the Kahuna Burger. My biggest complaint with this place is that it's always freezing cold inside. I'm not a person who tends to be cold, but it could stand to be 10 degrees warmer no matter the season. We usually get our food to go because of temperature.

Pretty tasty food for a hamburger joint. Prices a little higher than I expected. $18 for two people ordering burgers, fried/onion rings, and drinks. However it was really good. The pictures hanging up were a little dirty. Probably from young kids putting their hands on them. Otherwise a great locally owned non chain place to eat.
