During the Revolutionary War, Patriot militia defeated Loyalist militia in the Battle of Kings Mountain. Liberty Mountain, a play performed at the local theater, tells all about the battle. The downtown area is home to the museum and police station.

You get a good meal, fast service and it does not cost a fortune. They cook to order, so it is hot! The cherry soda is awesome, do not know of another place around that sells it.

I frequent Subways for lunches during the work week. Frequently I've found the service can get pretty slow during the lunch rush as many Subways aren't adequately staffed. THIS ONE IS! I've never seen more people cranked through a Subway this fast. Same great sandwiches as always.
