Things to do in Jelgava
I tried chicken kebab with fries and garlic sauce. Fries and sauce were quite good but not amazing, they were supposed to be belgian fries but they tasted just like regular fast food fries. The kebab though was really great only I wouldn't call it a kebab but a chicken wrap, it was an amazing chicken wrap, they use fresh veggies and sauce that tasted like sweet chili thai sauce, the meat was delicious and it had nice overall spiciness.- the only negative, there's usually a long wait even though theres never been many people around when I visit
A visit to Jelgava isn't complete without a visit to Balerija, probably the largest and best-known bar in the city. They have an extensive schedule of concerts for bands both from Latvia and international, and aside from Fontaine's in Liepaja, Balerija are probably one of the biggest and well-known Latvian music venues outside of Riga. It's a large room, with a good friendly atmosphere even in the evenings as they set up for a gig and begin to separate the stage area from the rest of the bar.The bartenders are all friendly and welcoming, particularly Jaksis, with a good knowledge of drinks and fast service. The menu isn't as cheap as some places, especially outside of Riga, but is more than reasonably priced. The beer selection could have been larger, but they also have a reasonably sized food menu as well as a cocktail list, both of which would be good to try next time as well. I look forward to going back, when a band I like plays there to give me an excuse!

Poor service, girls are rude and they doesn't respect no one. If you ask about something they will angry look at you. So at the last time we ordered food, we waited about 30 minutes, drinks 've been served after food... Soo... Very sad, because 5 years ago Cili Pica had a good reputation, but now every meal looks very cheap and taste is nothing similar from the past Cili Pica.
