I was on holiday at Ioannina and I visited gyroland!!it was the best souvlaki I have ever eaten so far here in Ioannina!!their service was fast and the atmosphere there was very good!!

........and pretty reasonable too. I had a chef's salad, the boss ordered a chicken gyros. Salad was OK, but heavy on the lettuce and light on eggs, ham, cheese; heavy too on the slightly over-sweet tomatoey mayonnaise dressing. Too heavy, in fact. Gyros was good; the bread wrap was superb (I swiped a bit to be sure) but boss unable to finish the generous portion. She'd ordered chicken but got pork - she should have said, but struggled on and quite enjoyed it - but would have preferred the chicken. Anyhoo, two meals and two beers, â¬15 so not complaining. Friendly place.
