Have visited this restaurant a few times before, and as always no problems getting in. There is no licence now so remember to bring your own drinks. No corkage fees apply.Complementary bread and hummus provided whilst you select. Fresh and tasty. Starters good value around £5 and would recommend Shish Trio; Lamb Chicken and Turkish Spicy Sausage. Our mains were Lamb Kulbasti and Mixed Grill. Latter was amazing, the Adana kebab every bit as good as what I had in Turkey at the Hilton, although the lamb was tough, and not helped by not having a sharp enough knife to cut. Mains cost around £12/15 so reasonable enough. Apple tea is complimentary, but beware Turkish Coffee in my opinion well overpriced at £2.99 each!Overall bill just over £40 which is quite OK. Will definitely return, but will be cuter on ordering and avoid the coffee!
We had a lovely takeaway from golden palace the whole family enjoyed the meal !! Especially the chicken fried rice that went down a treat with the children

If you like your Chinese food Bland and Tasteless but Cheap, then Wing Hong Honiton is for you. On returning for another take-away we discovered that the business has changed hands. The food quality at Wing Hong has always been very hit and miss, and varied greatly from night to night. The prices appear to have remained the same, though some items are no longer available and the quality has plummeted. Located at 147, High Street, you can often park outside, and the Lace Walk Car-Park is a short walk away. Our Roast Pork Fried Rice and Chicken Chow Mein dishes were almost tasteless and contained only a tiny amount of meat. The flavourless red gunk they supplied masquerading as Sweet & Sour Sauce looked as though it probably glows in the dark, due to it containing every E-number ingredient known to man! We have suffered enough and will not be returning. All three Chinese Take-Aways in Honiton are now poor, its time to look further afield.
