What a treat! We had lunch here twice and would have gone back had we stayed longer. We had 4 different dishes on our visits, and everything tasted great and was reasonably priced. Make sure you try the freshly made guava and mango juice - and don't forget to ask for a splash of rum in it (yum)!

We called in for a bite to eat as we had heard about the rotis being very good. We shared a roti made up with swordfish, potatoes and vegetables, followed by a slice of homemade banana cake all for 29BDD. Seating is available indoors and outside, and is run by a mother and daughter who are very friendly.

The Rubis premises were recently updated, and the tired looking KFC has been replaced by a new Burger King outlet. You can get fried chicken pretty much everywhere in Barbados, there are no Macdonalds, and there is no Chefette in Holetown.There is a drive through from the left of the filling station forecourt and also a restaurant.This time I opted for the drive through and a Double Whopper plus medium fries came to BBD18.74. Well made burger, and the fries were proper chips as distinct from the familiar Macdonalds mini chips. Enjoyed my meal at home with a Red Stripe - Massy across the road sell these. Local businessman âBizzyâ Williams is I believe involved in the growing number of Burger King outlets in Barbados, and he believes in doing everything to high standards. So a good place for people on a budget, as there is a proper kitchen unlike some of the other cheap eats places and food vans.
