Just north of Lake Cook Rd., this Burger King has to compete with a Fuddrucker's that is a few blocks south. However, this Burger King is well maintained and clean - including the restrooms. The staff was efficient. The prices and menu are typical Burger King, there are no surprises. I always get a cheese whopper with catsup & tomato only.

Jimmy John's changed their menu, so that their primary sandwiches are now legacy. The new ones are bigger and more expensive. Who needs either? The sandwiches came out fine, as ordered, but when I went to use Apple Pay from my watch, their scanner didn't detect the payment. Plan B: use my iPhone. Same result. I finally had to slip my credit card into the reader to pay for my order. I was anxious to leave, but the guy insisted on bagging my sandwiches with napkins (what Jimmy John's ever bags your stuff? Isn't that always left to the customer? And I said I'd care for it.), which kept me there for an extra minute (that I didn't want to waste standing blocking other inbound customers). I think he thought it was his penance for a malfunctioning reader. For me, it was just a delayed departure.
