The queue of people waiting to be seated in the café section of this "chippy" suggested that the food would be good.I opted for haddock & chips to take out. The staff were friendly and polite and I was served within a couple of minutes. The fish was not fried to order, but had clearly only been recently cooked. The batter was lovely and crispy and the fish very flaky and tasty. The chunky chips were not too greasy and the portion size was good at a very reasonable price.

Authentic Italian home-made pizza by slice. Freshly baked every day with the finest ingredients and flours. Fast and easy to eat, as in all the best street-Pizzerias in Rome.
The top place for fresh authentic pizza ....thin and crispy with generous quality toppings. The capricciosa pizza with a request to add brown anchovies is sooooo delicious and a firm favourite of ours. Chilli flakes and a drizzle of olive oil added if you wish. Prices are very reasonable. The hard working Italian couple making and serving the pizzas are such lovely people. We wish them every success...they deserve it.

We rented a tower near Long Town over Christmas weekend and went into town to get groceries. I remembered seeing this shop on TA and decided to grab fish and chips to take back to our place. It was a really quaint shop and everyone who worked there were extremely helpful and nice! The fish and chips and steak pies were delicious! Would highly recommend visiting this place for take out!!!

Should have been more aware of the ramifications of being able to purchase a breakfast roll with 4 breakfast items on it for under £5 in a service station. But I thought, it being Ramsdens, that this was some form of loss leader.Unfortunately the answer was that they can do this because the produce must be the cheapest they can get and the bacon for instance would have given beef jerky a run for its money chewability wise. In fact it was virtually inedible. What most annoys me though is that this must be blindingly obvious to the owners. As we stood up to leave our inedible breakfast there were three other tables where the patrons had scarpered leaving half eaten breakfasts behind.Avoid this place like the plague and I'll think twice before I visit a Ramsdens at all.Staff were cheerful, and that's about all you can say for this appalling place.

The food here is good I had a voucher for 2 x 6 inch subs with drink and crisps good value. I asked if I could change cold drink for tea or coffee prepared to pay difference told no you must have what is on the voucher. What a waste I donât drink fizzy drinks. 0 out of 10 for customer service.

Full English breakfast on a winterâs morning for less than £12 really hit the mark. Probably a good place to go if you are visiting the local outlets.
Where to eat Scottish food in Gretna Green: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Visited this chip shop for a quick bite to eat while on holiday in the area. My husband ordered chicken pakora and I ordered chips and cheese for myself and my son. Seemed to be a good variety on the menu, however disappointed that they only accept cash. Prices seemed to be fair for the only chip shop on the area and was busy when I was in.Would recommend a visit.
