Discover Restaurants offering the best Fast Food food in Glastonbury, England, United Kingdom. Generally a quiet place graced with lovely terrain for strolling, Glastonbury is very busy in the summer because of its music festival. Best known for contemporary music, the festival has attracted almost 200,000 people in recent years (whereas Glastonbury's full-time population is only 9,000 or so). There are a number of historical monuments to see in the area, including Glastonbury Lake Village, Glastonbury Abbey and the Somerset Rural Life Museum. We can't say that the weather is always good, but on a sunny day you can't go wrong!

Do you remember how good Fish & Chips used to taste? Well they still do - here! The same family has been serving Fish & Chips in this shop since 1909 - It is a Somerst Institution! AND you can have Wine, Beer or Cider with your Chips as they have a lice
Super fish and chips; tasty, good sized portions, really well cooked came out quickly and piping hot. Really good value for money too! The service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant is charming and adds to the experience. Fish and chips in the south of England can be poor - however these were spot on!We will return!

I love tofu, and the oriental chef in Glastonbury has several options all suitable for vegans, including one with ginger and one in black bean sauce, and they can adapt other vegetarian dishes to make them vegan as well. There are several Chinese takeaways in Glastonbury and nearby Street, but this is the only one I use regularly...the cost and the quality are both excellent, and unlike many others they don't use MSG in their cooking which is handy for many people to know. Portion sizes are good, and there is plenty of tofu in the meal, and it is of the chewy, slightly sweet variety that I really like but can never quite master at home. My only criticism is that the spring rolls are actually too big, so are best ordered to be shared rather than each.

Visited as a treat for my Daughter who is Coeliac but weâre informed that they turn the Gluten free fryers off at 8:00pm. Clearly people suffering from this disease donât eat after 8pm. We apologise you missed out on your gluten free meal this time. We do our best to keep our customers informed about our fryer closing time. I hope you can understand the reason for our fryer closing an hour before the shop closes. We take the time everyday to filter and clean this fryer and area thoroughly as to maintain our high standard to anyone with the coeliacs disease. We do hope you can allow us the opportunity to provide you with a great gluten free meal in which we have many great reviews for. Once again we apologise for the let down.

We couldnât decide between Oriental Chef (across the road) and Peking Palace, since they seemed to get much the same ratings on Trip Advisor. Peking Palace won out, since it opened earlier, and we had a menu. There were three of us, so we decided to opt for the set vegetarian menu and augment it with extra spring rolls, crispy seaweed, an extra helping of rice, and some crackers. This proved to be more than enough, and we had almost sufficient for a second full meal.Other reviewers report an unduly lengthy wait, so we decided to order and collect the meal on the premises rather than to have it delivered. The proprietor said the order would take ten minutes: in fact, it was ready in just over five.We were extremely pleased with the food â all absolutely delicious. I would certainly recommend the sweet and sour tofu. Iâm not normally a fan of noodles, but I think Peking Palace has converted me!I donât know whether the competitor across the road is as good, but I think Peking Palace would be difficult to better.By the way, it may be useful to know that they do not accept cards â only cash.
