Garrucha is a seaport of south-eastern Spain on the Mediterranean Sea and the right bank of the river Antas. In 1998 the town had a population of 5000. The harbor of Garrucha, which is defended by an eighteenth-century castle, affords shelter to large ships, and is the natural outlet for the commerce of a once thriving agricultural and mining district. Garrucha had, at the beginning of the twentieth century a considerable trade in lead, silver, copper, iron, esparto grass and fruit, but now the only export from its harbour is gypsum mined in Sorbas, with a million metric tonnes being exported annually . Besides cargo ships, the port is home to a small fishing fleet and has approximately 300 moorings for leisure boats.

decent food nicely cooked and presented,you can sit outside ,inside with the big glass doors open or right inside with the automatic door closed,very good decor and reasonable prices,we had pizza with our choice of toppings and really nice chunky chips both very enjoyable.

Frenchi is a no bulls++t kinda place. It´s not a fancy restaurant, it´s not nice, do not even consider showing up if looking for these things. But, hey, when you look for a quick grab in front of the Garrucha sea, THIS IS THE PLACE.Clean location, quick waiters, short menu. And the star, the fabulous double burger with cheese. The secret possibly in the caramelised onion, all roasted. But it is Heaven on Earth, trust me. Other delicacies include a huge sandwich with pretty much everything you can stick there ( tenderloin, bacon, tomato, lettuce, mayo, eggs, cheese, you name it). And the fries plate is a killer too. Do not expect anything else.Hearsay is they open as they feel like it, so sometimes you get down there to sadly find it closed, but when it is open, and the night sky glows over the seaside of Garrucha... this burger will make you crave for more.

Decided that, with all the fish restaurants in Garrucha, as we wanted a steak we would go to a place specializing in meat. Had two exceptional sirloin steaks with good chips and delicious battered onion rings. Been back since for the BBQ ribs - delicious

La hamburgueserÃa "Boca-dos" se encuentra sobre la mitad del paseo marÃtimo entre la Laguna y Garrucha frente al mar en un sitio inmejorable. Dispone de un amplio local interior con una decoración minimalista e impersonal, (yo cambiarÃa las mesas y las sillas, que resultan un poco cutres y pondrÃa algo mas moderno), unos servicios bastante limpios y una gran terraza exterior, amplia y muy comportable donde pasar un buen rato en compañÃa de los amigos o familiares, escuchando el rumor del mar y disfrutando de la brisa marina en las noches de verano, esta atendida por jóvenes camareros muy amables y atentos en todo momento. La oferta gastronómica es la tÃpica se este tipo de restaurantes de comida rápida, (hamburguesas, sandwich, raciones de patatas, perritos clientes, bocadillos, nuguets de pollo, ect, etc). Hay que destacar la variedad de hamburguesas, de cerdo, de pollo, de buey y de ternera por supuesto, todas ellas exquisitas a precios bastante económicosLas jarras de tinto de verano espectaculares, acabamos tan contentos yo y mi familia, que volvimos una segunda noche, y no una tercera por que se nos acabaron las vacaciones, pero si volvemos por ahà seguramente nos volvamos a ver, gracias.
