From the start we walked into this Chicken Licken, a wave of heat hit us, as the afternoon sun that shines into this establishment was unbearable. I can't even comprehend that the Staff has to work in this heat. There's very little seating for one to wait, for a take away. The service was extremely slow. We waited 15 minutes to just place an order and even with a queue only 1 person was at the till point. We waited even longer for one take away meal, which was to say the least, disgusting. The buns were old, stale and with no butter extremely dry. The chicken even worse, so dry one could use it as a frizbee and I'm not even joking here. The mayo non-existent and the fries dry and tasteless. Not even the salt sprinkle could save this meal. After not eating take away meals for many months and having this meal on-route back from Kruger Park, we were highly disappointed. Worst is we bought 2 more meals for our kids and by the time we got home, these meals could be considered for the dustbin. Will never again pop into this outlet, let alone take a turn-off at eMalahleni to get a fast food meal. This meal has cured me for life when it comes to ever ordering a fast food meal again.

Small intimate restaurant, quiet so that you can have a conversation with friends without have to raise your voice.The owner and staff are very friendly and polite it is a pleasure to go there.They have a super breakfast for retired people that is very reasonable priced and other meals that are tasty and well presented Parking is not a problem

I would order the combo burger with chicken everyday it was so nice and the place is so clean and friendly. The sauces are very nice and juicy the burger is enough for actually two people and very fulfilling the services is also very quick and the food is tasty.

The Spur used to be the budget option with a wide variety to choose from. The variety keeps on shrinking and the price keeps on increasing. This specific Spur is no longer as busy as it used to be and we visited twice. First time, incompetent waiter with no clue of what is going on and the second time a waiter that remained focused and provided excellent service.On both instances however, the food was no longer Spur quality. Burger buns without butter at a restaurant stays a personal no-no. They food took too long from the time I expected, most of the Nando's I visit it never took more than fifteen minutes.
