At the best of Argentina, the best view. Open from de 15th October to Easter Sunday.
This is a huge cafeteria style restaurant overlooking the stunning Perito Moreno Glacier. They have the only toilets close to the Glacier but note they lock them at 5:30 pm when the restaurant closes and the only other toilet in the park is half way to the exit and is locked at 6 pm despite you being able to stay in the park until 9 pm in summer. They have thin pumpkin soup they serve in styrofoam cups and the typical ready made wrapped sandwiches you buy in bus stations. They also have ready made salads and they are actually fresh and taste good.Service is indifferent.Anyone expecting anything like the wonderful restaurant on the Brazilian side of Iguazu will be disappointed. Such a pity as the view is stunning.
We are a vegetarian, vegan and healthy fast food trade
Almost entire menu is plant based food, there was 1 chicken wrap on menu. Veggie sandwiches, wraps, pastas, lasagne, shepherds pie, burgers; eat in or take away. They also offer pizza bases, packets of uncooked pasta and jars of sauce, and other cooking ingredients.Indoor and outdoor seating, bathroom, close to bus station. Only place Iâve seen so far that sells almond milk. Very friendly staff, would definitely visit again.

What a surprise.I went to the Borges/Alvarez Libro Bar (with their smashing 50 pesos home brew) and asked around for the best Milanesa in town and I was directed here.Succulent and fresh and 100 pesos. A litre of Quilmes and papas fritas and it's magic! Borges would be proud. So much better than the over priced crap elsewhere. Perfecto!

We were recommended this place by our hotel as we were looking for somewhere with decent craft beer, it didn't disappoint, there were only two options but both were excellent. We were not expecting the food to be anything special but were pleasantly surprised when it arrived the piadina's are absolutely delicious and a must, they are kind of like a cross between a sandwich and a pizza, perfect pairing for the beer.

Not only was this the worst food of my two-week stay in Argentina and Chile, but probably the worst food ever. It was supposed to be chicken, but I've never had "chicken" with texture and fat such as this. Also, the waiter was rude and miserable. This was just an awful meal and experience.

Let's tell the truth: the staff is friendly, smiling, the place is convivial for sure, but... the food really isn't the high point of La Fonda (at least: tagliatelles, tortilla, napolitana). Prices are still very affordable, making it a correct choice if you're not manic at quality.

Sangria was delicious, as were the giant fries and caprese salad. Bit of a slow place, but friendly staff and greatly priced.
