While visiting the Cilento Shopping Outlets in Eboli, we decided to conclude our evening with dinner at McDonald's. After all, 5 days after Christmas we were all a bit strapped for cash and McDonald's offers a hot , affordable comfort food. The fries, cheeseburger and fish sandwich tasted like those in our American restaurants. My fish patty seemed a bit smaller than I remember and when I opened the soft bun, there was a very small piece of yellow cheese- it looked like a half slice. Hmm, did they run low or was this the norm? However, my WARNING to all at this location: DO NOT leave anything in your car while eating inside the restaurant!!!!!!! We were robbed and when we called to tell the establishment, they said they had had many calls from patrons who had their cars broken into. This McDonald's does not have cameras in their parking lot-beware.

I travel with a relative who loves his McDonald's fix and although we visited in December, he was not going to drive by the eatery without a burger. We had fries and burgers with a coke and a coffee. The attendant brought our meals to our table, but there were no ketchup packets on the tray or self serve dispensers in the restaurant. When we asked for the condiment- we were charged .50 cents per Packet! Really?

Peccato che le varietà offerte siano poche, ma alcune sono dal sapore unico. Consigliatissima la funzniell (pomodirini al forno e prosciutto crudo) e la duchessa (con le patate).

Stopped here for lunch on our way to the temples at Paestum and so glad we did. We had delicious, freshly made rolls with our selection of fillings from the cabinet. We chose ham off the bone with smoked buffalo mozzarella and grilled eggplant but there were plenty of other options available. We also took an almond pastry for a mid afternoon desert - heavenly. Some of the friendliest service weâve had in Italy. Highly, highly recommended!
