L'aéroport de Douala, c'est toute une aventure en soi. On s'y bouscule dans une atmosphère suffocante, on y vend de tout, tout le temps, partout, on s'y apostrophe sans beaucoup de courtoisie, on en sort et on y rentre en traversant une véritable cour des miracles où nul n'est prophète. Alors trouver dans cet océan déchaîné un petit îlot de tranquilité, comme cet établissement niché en dessous des escaliers, même trop cher, même inauthentique, tient de l'inespéré. D'autant que le service se révèle agréable et les sièges, confortables.Ce n'est évidemment pas ici que vous trouverez les meilleurs poissons de la capitale économique du Cameroun. La gastronomie camerounaise, qui est faite de produits frais et de goûts très nets, se consomme pour partie dans la rue, pour partie dans les familles. C'est là qu'un européen trouvera le nirvana culinaire, dans ces vieux chaudrons et ces marmites sans âge croissant et croisant les saveurs jusqu'à les magnifier. Ici, le poisson frit est un peu aseptisé, comme une première avant-garde du retour vers nos contrées trop industrialisées. Le prix poursuit la même courbe ascendante.Mais vous saurez gré à cet établissement de vous offrir le seul moment de calme avant de prendre l'avion. Il faut bien cela pour survivre aux formalités administratives multiples, aux sollicitations locales et à l'environnement délétère de cet aéroport maudit.

This place is ideal to go with a small group of friends for a few drinks. Also, if you're single it is a good spot to meet, perhaps not your future wife, but surely a very decent long term girlfriend!The mixed kebab is delicious, but the place is a bit small and the cocktails could be better. All in all, a place I would recommend anyone to visit at least once while in Douala.
