I rarely take the time to add a review for a fast food restaurant, but the service at this Subway was above and beyond, so I wanted to take the time to say "great job". We travel a lot for work and pleasure. We like to stop at Subways while on the road, because they are quick and can order nutritious. Usually we walk into a Subway and it the person or persons behind the counter are doing their job, monotone "welcome to subway", make your sandwich and that's about it. This stop was very different from the usual. My husband and I were traveling through the area on our way back to Illinois from a week in the Smoky Mountains. We stopped to get a quick sandwich 5/11 @ 10:20ish & continue our travels. We were greeted by a very nice young gentleman who quickly, acknowledged us with "MORE" than the usual monotone "welcome to Subway". He was very friendly & explained some newer sandwiches, condiments etc... He takes his job very seriously and is a great asset to the franchise. Unfortunately, I did not ask his name. I hope that the owner of this specific restaurant reads this and acknowledges him for a job well done!!

We ordered delivery while staying in the area. BTW, having a full menu in the hotel room is a great idea. We probably should have stuck with pizza, but ordered calzones and wings. The wings were fine, the calzones not so much. A little gummy--either because the crust was not cooked through, or because the tomato sauce was inside the calzone. I've never had it that way, and I'm not a fan. Having the sauce on the side to dip is a much better idea, given the sogginess it created. That said, though, the order arrived promptly on a Friday night, and was correct. Could have been worse.

I really like the fact this is in an old gas station, I wish they had played this up more when they decorated. I like the fact it is in downtown Dandridge and convenient to everything. I even liked going for lunch and being able to sit, watch the traffic and eat a sub. I love Susa who worked there, she is a sweetheart and always made sure your food was just right. But, the last time we went for lunch we ordered water to drink. The young man waiting on us gave us a regular Subway cup and charged us for a Coke, when we said we only wanted water he said the water cost the same as a Coke. I'm not sure what happened but if you go make sure they give you a water cup if you can't have caffeine and don't like Sprite.

This Sonic, this time, was excellent. Food, service, friendliness of staff, great quick eats. My son and I ordered the new $5.00 Sonic Box with a cheeseburger, tots, drink, and a premium hotdog. A great deal, meal, and more. Will eat at this location again in the future. Nice job!
