Located inside Water Tower Place, this is designed as a high end mall food court, with an interesting twist in that you get a card which is swiped at each place and then you pay on the way out. I liked the concept, and the wide selection of different classic Chicago food choices. However, we tried food from five different places and it was all very average. It would be a good choice for families with kids because it is fun and there is something for everyone, but it would have been better if the good was more memorable.

Chefy's is a quaint little pub style restaurant right off of Plainfield Road in Joliet, IL. They have delicious homemade food with a different special featured each day of the week. Their char grilled burger was excellent Classic Beef Poor Boy is not to be missed! All the specialty sandwiches come with very thinly cut fries or you can substitute onion ring or backed mac & cheese for $2.00. I had the Wed. daily special, cabbage rolls, and loved every bite!

We come from Lincoln Ne. and this is always our first stop even over White Castle which is one of my favorites. My husbands uncle owned the original Bozas hot dog stand in Lockport. The Boz hot dog are a copycat of this original place. Anyway JODY'S has it down to a science. The tamales and fries are also excellent. The owners daughter always remembers us and greets us with a big smile. It has a fifties feel and you leave full and feeling Like you just left Arnold's on Happy Days. Wish they were closer to US. ENJOY!!!!

I have been here a few times.. Their food is good, I love their selection of sides.. This time as with the last two visits, the wait is just so long. Yes, they are busy, but they just don't seem to have a good system in place. The serving sizes are very small, if you order shrimp, fish or anything other than pieces of actual chicken on the bone. The sauces are really good. Just not sure the food is good enough to wait so long for..
