Courmayeur is a town and comune in northern Italy, in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley. At an elevation of 1,224 m (4,016 ft) above sea level, it is located at the foot of the southern side of Mont Blanc, at 4,810 m (15,781 ft) the highest point in the Alps and western Europe (see Seven Summits), and is crossed by the Dora Baltea river. Courmayeur shares administration of Mont Blanc with its neighboring commune of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains in France, and is consequently able to claim the title of highest commune in Italy. Courmayeur also shares access to the glacial ski run of the Vallée Blanche with another French town, Chamonix, which sits at the opposite, northern, side of the Mont Blanc massif.

Tucked away down a narrow side street with a very quaint appealing entrance. Busy but efficiently run. Only a few tables and chairs. Delicious focaccia and plenty of other choices. Service friendly. A great place to grab a bite after a day's skiing. Definitely recommended.

Thanks to the people at La luge for making my last two Korean TMB trekking groups so happy and serving great steaks and burgers. We loved the food and enjoyed meeting the friendly staff. I will be back! Thank you Max and everyone else!

Went for a late lunch between skiing. Had a vegan kebab which was ok and good to have as an option for vegetarians/vegans. Had a burger as well which was again ok. The paying and ordering system was a bit confusing. The seating was inside which was nice and warm but restricted the awesome views outside. Overall functional place for lunch before more skiing.
