I am a native Texas from Corpus Christi, Texas, home of the original Whataburger. They make the best burgers at an affordable price. If you're looking for a great hamburger, you have to visit Whataburger. Ask them to toast the bun, smother it with mustard, mayo, onions, pickles, lettuce and tomatoes. Be sure to try the "spicy" catsup on your burgar and on your fries. You'll leave with a full stomach and a money in your pocket.
The food was horrible. Chicken over cooked and rubbery. Everyone in my family complained about it.....Save your money and look elsewhere for your meal.
This was my second visit. I meant to order the fried gizzards the first time, but mistakenly ordered livers instead. This time I got it right, but should have stuck with the livers again. Gizzards were stringy and tasteless. At least the livers tasted like liver. On the plus side, the chicken and the tenders are good and the sides are very good. Access to the joint is a bit puzzling as one must exit Oyster Creek Drive at either Grapevine or Winding Way and come in from the back.
