Ordered a lunchtime takeaway, waited a while for my order, but the wait was worthwhile as it was freshly cooked, free home deliveries are offered for evenings, prices are on par with similar takeaways, and the menu is vast with something for everyone, this restuarant is badly in need of a refurb as it is very antiquated. .

Can't believe how far downhill this place has gone since our last visit.Once our favourite cafe whilst visiting Clacton over the years we were bitterly disappointed with our last visit.Always popular with the locals,we were shocked to see the place virtually empty on a usually busy Saturday afternoon.Sat waiting in a near empty restaurant for 40 mins to be served.Indifferent staff who clearly couldn't care less.Finally served by waitress who couldn't speak English.Not sure if it's a new change of management but this place isn't what it used to be.Same food same menu but that's where it all ends. Stood at the counter like a lemon waiting to pay ignored by staff playing on mobile phone.Obviously got better things to do than serve paying customers.Can't see this place staying in buisness much longer at this rate.Never again.

Been to Clacton so many times, no idea how long this place has been here, we never tried it so today gave it a go and was thoroughly impressed. Portions were big (albeit slightly pricier) and the food was delicious. Everything cooked beautifully. Will deffo return!

Friendly family run very established Fish and Chip takeaway.However, there is a large seating area to the right-hand side with no steps or obstacles and the staff are so friendly is it just such a pleasant visit. It makes a lovely change to sit down and have your food cooked freshly and served up with all the trimmings. Reg's has been in Clacton for over 20 years minimum and the food is superb as is the service. There is a large free car park just opposite so no problems with access at all.

We visited clacton for a long weekend and decided to order after watching football. They arrived within 20 mins (valley farm). The food was piping hot. Tasty and spicy. Large portions for the price too. Wish we had a Chinese like this where I live.

We love going to this restaurant, the food is lovely, the restaurant is clean and comfortable and the staff are really friendly. The Golden Fillet never fails to impress. The fish and chips are always lovely and the portion sizes are certainly not skimpy. We go here for a takeaway and always phone ahead to place our order which I highly recommend as there are always queues out of the door.Staff are always friendly and I have never had a bad experience in all the years I have been going there. If you truly want the best fish and chips in the Clacton area then this is the place to go.

We had a look to see where the best chip was in Clacton and Geoâs seemed to be the one. Itâs amazing value and the service is quick and efficient. My sister and I had a small sausage and chips each. The chips and sausage were both up there with the best Iâve had. Itâs honestly so cheap as well. I highly recommend going there if youâre looking for a chip shop, and not just settling for one you come across! Itâs right in the centre, a few minutes from the beach and has a square with benches to sit on across the road.
