Find out what Fast Food restaurants to try in Cairo. Cairo’s an ancient city that also happens to be a modern metropolis—it’s one of the biggest cities in the Middle East and has the traffic and noise issues to prove it. But as long as you’re not looking for solitude, Cairo—the City of the Thousand Minarets—is a splendid place to explore Egyptian history and culture. This restaurant consists of 3 floors and has no branches. It is located on Champollion Road along with spare partsâ shops. You don't have to bother about a menu! The restaurant offers only one dish âKosharyâ. Drinks are either Pepsi Cola or 7up or water. Desert is either a rice pudding or strawberry Jell-O.

Excellent takeaway food. Freshly made in the very big and busy kitchen down the stairs at the main entrance. You can taste all the very tasty Egyptian staples (full, baba ganoush, falafel, etc. and pay very little for huge portions. The falafel are gigantic. The big portion of foul can serve at least 2! I strongly recommend trying the lentil soup - a pleasure for your tastebuds.
