Burnsville /ˈbɜːrnzvɪl/ is a city 15 miles (24 km) south of downtown Minneapolis in Dakota County in the State of Minnesota. The city lies on the south bank of the Minnesota River, upstream from its confluence with the Mississippi River. Burnsville and nearby suburbs form the southern portion of Minneapolis–Saint Paul, the fifteenth largest metropolitan area in the United States, with about 3.6 million residents. According to the 2010 census, the population is 61,481.

IRIE! Everything was excellent! I also like their new slogan straight off the website - "Don't Worry, Eat Happy!" and I always do when I'm at Pimento thanks to the master minds; Tomme, Yani, Sergey and their entire team. After traveling to Jamaica a couple of times now and falling in love with the cuisine from this wonderful country, I was in search of finding something as close to authentic as possible. Far too many places are calling themselves "Authentic", but are far from being. Thanks to Tomme and his family recipes, the term authentic is spot on. When Pimento first opened at the Burnsville Mall, my wife and I were beyond excited. Finally some Jamaican food to check out and we haven't stopped visiting. Now, with their latest venture to brick and mortar, more people get a chance to enjoy the amazing food being delivered. Are go to every time we're there - the One Love with an order of extra plantains and of course, patties! There's nothing on the menu NOT worth eating and my favorite thing off the menu is EVERYTHING! Seriously! Nothing they make is bad, nothing they make should be passed over and nothing they make should ever be left on your plate or bowl. It's Jamaican perfection and I'm glad I've had the opportunity to get to know the Tomme and Yani a little more, it makes the food that much more enjoyable for me. For the first time, I finally had the opportunity to check out the Oxtail and Curry meals that are typically served as specials on occasion - Ya Mon! Fall of the bone yummyness! My favorite sauces are the Minnesota Nice, Kingston Kick and Jerk Ranch (especially the Jerk Ranch and yes, that again is, all of them). I remember when they first introduced the Jerk Ranch and I told Yani he can never get rid of it. Maybe it was my suggestion, but it's now officially on the menu as an option along with some other new additions - Neutralizer and Kill Dem Wid It! You go from a no heat, sweet and smokey creation up to an extra hot habanero, lime, soy sauce and fresh herbs, punch you in the face awesomesauce! The new brick and mortar Pimento will be a staple in the Eat Street neighborhood for years to come and I hope they have nothing but amazing success by spreading their "Ya Mon" attitude and insanely delicious food for all to enjoy. Those passing by outside asking what was going on received an earful from me - "Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!" and every person expressed honest interest. Four of us arrived at 12:05 PM on a Wednesday and of course it was busy. My husband had never been in one and was unfamiliar with the menu and ordering process. Among other things he wanted a #1 meal with 2 original chicken sandwiches, but ordered 2 meals. Long story short, the line was held up while the associate redid the order, but she could not have been kinder. When our order arrived at the table, it was exactly correct, even the sandwiches minus pickle. The hot foods were all piping hot as well. We didn't know we'd get an offer of refills on our beverages before we left. Also watched as staff cleaned tables, chairs, floors and offered to take trash!

I tried their new chicken sub, sprinkled with a bag of Fritos. I'd say there was 6 ounces of chicken on the foot long, 3 ounces on each half. And it cost a whopping $7.50, $8.03 with tax. Give me a Whopper Junior anytime.
