Your first impression always counts a lot and on entering the shop the staff look great in blue colourful uniforms. Pleasantly asked for my order and told it would be ready as soon as it is cooked despite a few in the queue. We had Chicken fillets (7),for a change, and with a good amount of chips cost £6. All were very tasty and as just cooked very hot. Shop just off the town square so easy to find.

Stocked up on some home-made lasagne and mac n cheese the other day as the kitchen is currently out of bounds. Tasted fab and good value too. Also took away some sandwich fillers ie coronation chicken and prawn mayo. Loved them, especially the coronation chicken. Creamy, but not too sweet and the chicken was very tender. Will definitely be back ....

This was very much an unplanned takeaway. I drove down from the Bridge of Cally at around 9pm and came across âThe Chippyâ as I parked in the town centre.I was greeted by friendly staff who were very accommodating. I ordered two portions of âFish And Chipsâ, a single âBattered Sausageâ and two cans of juice. The turnaround was about fifteen minutes and it cost me in the region of £15.00 to £20.00 (cash only payments).The food itself was average - the Chips were brilliant but the Fish wasnât the best iâve tasted. Saying that, we both pretty much emptied our takeaway boxes! All in all, Iâll happily rate this place a very good but rest assured a few minor improvements could bump this rating up.
