A true local restaurant popular with locals. We asked the owner to keep our back bags whilst we visited the Medina. We had lunch and then tipped him. A nice experience.

I went here on the first day of opening with a Moroccan friend. It's taken a couple of weeks for the establishment to get listed.It's new, so it's looking good. Additionally, it has been built and furnished in what I assume is a new style which, although it has to be standardised worldwide, doesn't look as terrible as the previous incarnations.The food was, well, McDonald's! The same stuff that you'd find anywhere in the world, some of it adapted somewhat to local tastes. The reason I am giving the place a four is the view. They have certainly chosen a spectacular position on the extended beach looking out over the bay and the waves. The restaurant has been built on an elevated position to allow good views from the terrace. The whole area is slated to become a holiday village with shops, restaurants, chalets and hotels which probably explains why they built here rather than in town. However, I cannot imagine that the residents of the exceedingly expensive gated community next door are happy with their new neighbours.There are children's facilities and although it is not yet open, there will be a drive through.I've been there once and I doubt I shall return unless I am nagged and nagged at by my far more enthusiastic friend. That's just me though. I hadn't been to a McD for years before this visit!
