Called early in the evening (about 5.30pm) for a take away to be delivered. After hour it hadn't arrived. After 2 further phone calls and some obvious excuses the meals finally arrived. Driver got little tip (blood sugar too low at that point). When checking contents discovered a missing item. My invalid father wasn't amused I can tell you. I drove out to the premises to complain got the missing item easily enough with an apology but little else. Food was of acceptable quality but nothing special. Moral is order there or by telephone but pick up to ensure you get what you ordered.

Travelled round Scotland for over three weeks and had not managed to get into a "chippy" for a white pudding supper, well now we did.The white puddings were good and not soggy, the chips were absolutely excellent. In common with a couple of other reviewers though I must say that the portion size of chips could be more generous. The ratings would be better, nobody complained about the food.

A warm welcome awaits you here. We ate in (it was packed when we arrived). The owner is very friendly. Delicious fish n chips, complete with excellent homemade tartare sauce. Compares well with Anstruther Fish Bar without being totally mobbed!

Stumbled on this wee gem as we were heading to the pub in St Monans. Super fresh, excellent quality fish & chips, freshly cooked to order, as it should be. Lovely people too. You don't normally get standards like this in your average chippy, never mind from a van. Superb.

Busy busy on a Saturday night, people in and out and many were locals. Four fish suppers and they were delicious. We had extra fish because they said the portions were small so we needed extra - such decent honesty. Totally recommend this local chippy.

food briliant, very quiet but servuice was still not brilliant for some reason.sort of typical saturday staff, going through motions etc, pleasant but not really sharp and ON IT. Not well trained in my view. But who cares, not a huge issue and the fish and chips were great
