We left the A3 southbound late one evening, desperately looking for a meal for our family of four. We quickly concluded that Angri was not a a great choice, as finding a restaurant which appealed was basically impossible. Out of lack of choice, and few places where we could find parking, we ended up at Ai Tre Monelli. The entrance self service counter looked fairly shabby, but the restaurant in the back was pleasantly surprising. And when they go on to serve propably the best pizza I have ever had ( the capriciosa), the surprise was complete. The price was about 30% below what we usually pay, just as a bonus!

Pub situato in una zona periferica, ma facilmente raggiungibile. Cibo ottimo (partendo anche dagli antipasti) e rapporto qualità -prezzo decisamente giusto. Birre esclusivamente artigianali e soprattutto dal sapore inebriante. Unica pecca è la poca riservatezza derivante dalla bassa distanza fra i tavoli.

My general impression of the modern city of Pompeii and itâs neighbour, Scafati, is that they are dirty and crumbling â little of no effort is being put into improving the appearance, or fixing the infrastructure in either town However, amidst the crumbling buildings and trashy streets is this welcome gem. Brick Lane I.E. is along the Scafati section of the main road Corso Nazzionale that runs through Scafati and Pompeii â and like many shops along this stretch, you donât know itâs there until they roll up the metal blinds, other than a small overhead sign. But once inside and with a menu in hand, you can see why it gets busy with tourists and locals alike â a dozen or more locals were gathering for a big birthday party as we ate. Beer on tap includes a small number of mostly UK beers (I believe Brick Lane is a famous street in London), and the menu features a wide variety of burgers, something for every taste â and they were tasty, and reasonably priced when compared to similar fare in Rome. No hours are posted, but they opened at 7:30 pm on the Friday night we found them.

Sono stato qui stasera con la mia famiglia per festeggiare l'onomastico di mia moglie. Tutto ottimo, locale accogliente, cibo delizioso (sia il fritto che il pollo), con tante particolarità . I miei complimenti al personale per il servizio, soprattutto a Gerardo, che ci ha fatto sentire a nostro agio da subito e sa capire perfettamente le esigenze e le preferenze di tutti, bambini inclusi. Grandi complimenti anche per il dolce, il babbà , che abbiamo ordinato e gustato sotto consiglio di Gerardo. Tutto ottimo, ci torneremo sicuramente!
