The trouble with McDonalds is that it really isn't that great wherever the restaurant - the service is not existent, the food looks like it was made by an ape and the clientele, well enough said.So the Abbeville outpost of this global food chain has self service till points that you can change to English so at least you don't have the language barrier to overcome. However, it doesn't stop your burger being thrown into the box, the chips being cold when you sit down and needing to hunt around the place for straws.The kids get a desert with their happy meal in France, but this is some mashed fruit in squeezable box which must be an experience to eat/drink I'm sure. At least you get to choose a girl's or boy's toy on the self service till so you don't have to go and argue over swapping it.Basically, yes it's familiar and yes it's fast food but you're in France so, really, go and eat anywhere but here.

As we are Burger King lovers, we took the advantage of this location while we were passing in Abbeville on our trip, it was just in time, because it seems to be a place that is visited by allot of people, it was noon when we arrived and we had to stay in the que for the machines to make your order, this is easy, you put into the machine what you are wishing and you wait until they call your number on your ticket, and so you can get your meal at the desk. Good food, nice price and friendly service, and you do not spend allot of time when traveling.

Nous étions dans la Baie de Somme en ce début de mois de juillet.Pas envie de se faire la cuisine dans notre location. On décide donc de se faire livrer 5 pizzas, sur les conseils de notre loueur.Déjà , fallait pas avoir trop faim car livraison entre 1 et 1h30 plus tard.Pour se faire pardonner, on nous offre une bouteille de coca.Passons (on prend tranquillement l'apéro en attendant).Les pizzas arrivent enfin et là , désillusion...Pâte hyper épaisse, élastique.Aucune pizza n'est à notre goût, et pourtant, nous ne sommes pas très difficiles.Mon mari en avait pris une grande (car grosse faim) et au bout de 2 bouchées, il arrête de manger car goût de brûlé.Personne n'a terminé sa pizza.Même les garnitures n'étaient pas formidables.GROSSE DÃCEPTION et gros gâchis surtout.Passez votre chemin

My husband looked at me like I was mad when I suggested getting dinner from this unassuming burger van. Well he was proven wrong after we'd devoured the gorgeous and HUGE royal burger with frites, it truly was tres bon!! All fresh ingredients, succulent beef and the softest burger bap. Wish the burger vans in the UK were half as decent!
