We serve a tasting menu with a choice of 4 (tue, wed, thu),5,6 or 7 courses and additional cheeses. We try to source as much local ingredients as we can but like to implement International flavors to our dishes too. Our menu can change on a weekly base, d
We had a wonderful night: the food was absolutely delicious and the wine pairing was good too. However, we were dissapointed that while we had a set menu with a set price incl a wine pairing arrangement, the night ended with an extremely high bill: pricewise similar to a ** Michelin star dinner. While we had some surplus items that were mentioned as such (the truffel on the meat dish and an appetizer), we did not get a heads up on the surplus on the dessert wine (we were under the assumption this would be included in the wine pairing menu we were on) and other 'unmentioned' surplus items. Should we have paid more attention? Maybe. But it does leave us with an unsettled feeling and eventhough we did enjoy the night, the food, service and ambiance: the unfortunate conslusion is we won't be back.

Delicious food, drinks, and more. Cor & Don's City Restaurant is your destination for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Headed here as a change from my hotel to eat somewhere different, based on other feedback. It's easy to find - the hotel has a large illuminated sign so wasn't a difficult stroll. I was seated quickly and ordered a Adana Kebab with side salad and beer (the drink came quickly) and also a passing waiter offered a small titbit (tapas on toast) whilst I waited. When the kebab arrived it only had a small garnish on the plate and when I enquired if this was their side salad, it seemed they'd forgotten about it so hurriedly located it and brought it to the table. The meal was fine for what I ordered: flame-grilled lamb and herbs with a mint rahita (could have done with some chilli sauce) and went okay with the salad, but for nearly 20 euros it felt overpriced.Although the place didn't seem to be too full the staff still seemed to be scurrying around, busily. At some point a passing waitress asked if I wanted a dessert menu and vanished to get one... then 15 mins later spotted me and realised she'd forgotten all about me. However, I ordered some breads and dip whilst I finished my second beer. This oversight seemed to be a repeatable model: after sitting there with an empty glass and no offers of refills, I asked a waiter to fetch me the bill. After seeing nothing for the next 15 mins, I asked a waitress instead who produced it fairly quickly.I would have stayed for more beers and maybe returned on another day, but felt overall the service was slow and negligent - nobody really cared if customers wanted anything more, and with several waiting staff being so forgetful I think I'll forget about returning. A pity, since those burgers looked nice.

We stopped at this small hangout for lunch and were not disappointed. First of all, the staff was very good: enthusiastic, friendly and attentive. Then: the food was great. Both omelette and chicken teriyaki were served on large chunks of decent wholewheat bread, and were very tasty. Finally: the outdoor terrace is a treat. Enjoy!

The original Greek cuisine with delicious dishes. A cozy atmosphere and regular live performances. Every first Saturday of the month: A live performance of a Greek dance group. Every third Saturday : A live performance by a Greek singeR and / or a musicia
Food was very good, service was efficient and friendly. I would easily recommend Plato for anyone interested in having Greek Cuisine in Amsterdam!

Dutch website Heerlijk.nl offered a 5 course dinner for an excellent price. We were very impressed by the quality of food, excellent service but most of all by the inspired, unexpected and daring combination of ingredients that worked brilliantly for every course. This is cooking with passion and creativity

We had a lovely dinner here on Easter Saturday. They squeezed 7 of us in before later bookings and had a great meal. Mains of cod was good, also steak, lamb with pasta, followed up with local cheese dessert. l

My husband and I ate supper here. He said his steak was excellent. My halibut was very nice. It is not a cheap restaurant but has a nice atmosphere for a very pleasant meal.

We were lucky to be able to make a last minute reservation the day before the celebration, since we were a party of 7 They gave us a nice spot near by the water so our mom and dad enjoyed it since the weather was very warm and they could do with a little breeze to cool off. For starters I enjoyed the carpaccio and as a maincourse the warm goatcheese salad. Three of us went for the spare ribs, since we told them they are very good here. We all had a great time and the staff was very friendly and good since it was very busy. We did not have to wait long for our food. And it tasted very good again, so I'm sure the others will eat here more often to.
