Harbour Court food used to be good but the quality and standards have clearly gone down. We were there for dinner two days ago. It was a Saturday night so we expected the food to be of a decent standard and quality. It was quite frankly hopeless!! Lots of dishes filled with rubbish. It is a spread to fill the eyes and nothing else. The only thing we enjoyed was the egg hopper but I didn't think we had to go there for a good egg hopper as it is something you can enjoy anyplace. Service was even worse. The place was busy yet not filled to capacity. There were many serving staff who were just wondering around or chatting in corners. We had to wait for nearly 15 minutes for our bill and then another 20 for them to bring back the CC slip. I will not recommend nor go back anytime soon.

Decided to have drinks and dinner there since we were in the vicinity - big mistake. It took more than 3 hours for us to get our drinks and meal. Never will I go there again. There was one waiter serving about 10 tables. He was definitely overworked.

We really like this restaurant, it has a wonderful ambience, great staff and fantastic food. HOWEVER whilst they have an elegant pianist to provide a soothing background, right next door to this wonderful fine dining restaurant is the ballroom. The frequent weddings held there provide such bad, disruptive noise pollution, it ruins the experience. On the last two occasions we visited this restaurant the heavy bass noise from speakers situated just on the other side of the wall were so loud, it was ridiculous. We forgave it on the first occasion because it was not so bad, but on our most recent visit it was amplified to an unacceptable standard. We complained but received a very âcannot so anything about itâ response which was annoying when you are spending so much money. Because of this we will never go back to this nice- but expensive - restaurant. It is quite thoughtless of management to permit this. Such a shame....

We enjoyed the best lamb shank we have ever had. Roomy our waiter provided excellent service, both friendly and professional. In fact the food and our conversation with Roomy at the end was one of our best memories on our holiday. The interior design in the restaurant, courtyard, upstairs bar and terrace is impressive. We left with a box of hand made chocolates from the chocolate shop at the front of the restaurant. A beautiful evening. Really very impressed!

The hotel is in a quiet residential area but still reasonably convenient.It is a boutique hotel but quite spacious. I had a suite upstairs - large, with nice asian furnishings, very comfortable bed, and a good bathroom.The lobby areas are very comfortable with plenty of seating. There is an outdoor dining area which is good for breakfast and a dining room which is quite classy.Food is superb - some of the best in Colombo and i have dined at a lot of restaurants here over the years. - both western and local.I look forward staying again in future.Dear Guest, Thank you for reviewing Paradise Road Tintagel Colombo. Dinner at Echo was the first time here n we throughly enjoyed it!The food was good and delicious, the desserts even better. The strawberry cheesecake won my heart n palette too.. Was pretty much impressed with the kind and efficient service by MIRSHAD N MAHESH!Well done n keep up the good work!We ll be definitely coming back again for a second round....

Botanik has great scenic views from the outdoor patio, reasonable happy hour prices for wine and beer, and very helpful wait staff. Ambience is terrific. The food was not, though. Our duck dinner was tiny in size and salty, and the garbanzo salad with feta cheese belongs on no menu anywhere. Tasteless, sorry to say. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things. Thank you for your honest review of our rooftop restaurant and bar, while we are sorry to hear that the food did not meet your expectations.We are very sorry to hear this, since we have designed the menu in collaboration with Sri Lanka's first Michelin- Star Chef, which we receive primarily positive reviews about. The Chickpea dish is one that is very popular with vegetarians and is meant to be ordered as a side dish and not a main, however we do understand that these flavours and ingredients are not for everyone. Regarding the Duck dish, we will definitely take your feedback into consideration and will look into improving. Recently I visited the Capital Bar and Grill of Shangrilla Colombo with my family to enjoy a decent evening where we experienced and enjoyed the upright Decency with stunning cocktails and snacks amidst live Spanish music. The staff was very professional and helpful. Special Thanks to Mr Chatura and Mr Nadun for guiding and assistance in selection of our choice of food and beverages. We had a wonderful time.

Food and drinks were good but the customer needs to keep a good eye on the bill coz they could charge you extra for something you did not have, we were a group of 5 ordered 5 mains and an extra pizza & desserts but by the time the bill came they have charged us for 7 mains (5000 Rs extra).Since there was not much of a crowd at the restaurant there was no reason for such a mistake and what we all thought was it was not a mistake but intentionally done (either the respective person intentionally charged us extra thinking that we wonât check the bill or he by mistake charged us extra but was too lazy to re punch the bill) When I mentioned it to them the way they acted clearly showed us that they very well knew about it.Somehow we find this not acceptable from a respectable hotel chainDear Dhanushka71Thank you for your comments on the Il Ponte and we do take comments such as these very seriously, we have checked with our restaurant manager and heard that after the specific order was cancelled they had voided the amount in the bill.There is absolutely no reason to deceive any of our customers as we respect each and every customer who patronizes our hotel and we do appreciate the support.
