My wife and I visited Warwick on the way to Sugarloaf , NY and while walking around town we ran across Grappa Ristorante, so we decided to stop in for lunch on the patio. Our first happy surprise, they make an excellent White Sangria ( not to tart, not to sweet. ) The second, an excellent Mussels in a white wine garlic sauce ( we love thisAnitpasti so much we've been known to order a couple servings and skip the rest of a lunch menu.) Grappa's twist is the sauce is very creamy. For lunch I ordered a Grappa Wrap which I enjoyed because the Honey mustard sauce wasn't overly sweet ( sometimes a problem ). My wife had the Vegetarian Panini which she said was delicious and huge, almost equal to two sandwiches. We finished up with Cappuccino. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive and the service was verygood considering the kitchen is on the second floor of the restaurant and large platters were being transported down stairs. We really enjoyed the Grappa patio dining experience and will definitely be back on our next area visit.

We were a group of six old friends gathering for a good meal and, of course, enjoying old memories while making new ones. The Chateau is a wonderful place to gather and listen to music and experience a wonderful menu. We had salads, ravioli, and the house crudites with wonderful dips and a choice of delicious bread. I wanted a glass of red wine and the waiter brought all three to the table to taste. I had the Indonesian dish...delish!!Others had the schnitzel and still other chose a steak special. All of our meals were excellent. It's a great old Chateau with a tremendous history and a tremendously talented chef! It's pricey, so if you go out often, it probably won't be a daily thing for you. They do offer specials with full course meals and a bottle of wine as well. We said we need to try that soon!!!

My friends and I have always wondered how a relatively small town like Warwick can sustain so many restaurants. Fannie's provides one answer: Make your eatery like none other, quirky yet charming in its own way. Fannie's is small--only five tables, some which sit two, some four--but the food is worth the wait. Small, unique menu, with vegetarian fare such as a roasted veggie sandwich, and things to satisfy carnivores as well. An easy walk from all the shops in town. Fannie's is another reason to love Warwick. (Breakfast and lunch only--they close at 3:30.)
