Situated next to the yacht harbour, this relatively new restaurant offers a simple choice of small or large bowls of three freshly prepared soups, with different recipes every day, or a small cup of all three plus bread. You can also take away. Prices are very reasonable and all of the soups are really tasty. Ideal for a lunch sat either outside or inside.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised. First of all it is a very nice sand beach. The place itself has indoor and outdoor facilities with great view. Restrooms are available, a pin terminal so that you can pay with bank card, free WiFi basically everything modern wanderer needs. But the best of all is the staff. They were very friendly, we felt really welcome! The other best thing is the food. Given the location and the size of the place they offer quite a variety of food in a remarkably decent quality. Let's not forget this is basically a wooden shack with a terrace. The third best thing is the price. Absolutely fair! Given the location, directly on the beach, they could play the tourist trap game but don't, instead good value for money. To sum it up:Friendly staff Good foodFair prices Top beach locationSugar coated with free WiFi Wanderer if you come to Vlissingen giving kontiki beach a visit can be recommended, we will be back.

Strandpavillion in den Dünen von Vlissingen direkt am Meer mit Blick auf viele Schiffe
Piet Heyn is on the beach and we know it very well as we go regularly to Vlissingen/Koudekerke for one or two days. The first stop is for a nice coffee with sea view and in the evening a simple dish (fish, good meat, salad etc) with sometimes a marvellous sunset. Good service, friendly people, nice furniture. You got a real holiday feeling when you go to Piet Heyn.

In this cozy restaurant with a very light modern interior, we were trying to make dinner reservations, but for that particular evening, they were closed. We ordered 2 espressos and they were made to perfection. Beautiful photos of a model dressed up with traditional costume items from Zeeland are on the wall.

Been in there many times with friends, my boyfriend. It is always amazing. The food is adorably homey, it really gives you a warm feeling of mother's cooking. The gin and tonic selection is incredible, also other cocktails, wines and beers as well. Recommend it for any occasion !

Restaurant is located nicely on Nollestrand beach boulevard. Views are great and service is good however food was a big letdown for me. Ordered lamb chop, the cut was thick and dry and chewy. I almost left halfway so wasnt impressed with the food.

I know the Italians don't eat Pizza or Pasta for main course... but the food they serve at La Vita Bella is delicious. We had one plate of sardines between 2 of us. The moment we walked in the door we saw that the portions were more than generous. Our sardines were nicely grilled and served in a bit of olive oil with garlic, peppers and spring onions, accompanied by some bread and garlic butter. We then had a salad (my wife) with prawns and beef, which was very tender and tasty. I had a spaghetti with prawns and salmon in a creamy gorgonzola sauce. A lovely dish. We had coffee's afterwards and my espresso was up to Italian standard, Excellent. The bottle of white Sicilian house wine we had was also excellent, much more flavour than most white house wines. The service was also prompt, polite, knowledgeable and charming. What more can you ask for???
