Jasmine offers cuisine of immaculate technique, precision and ability. The dishes give an impression of total control and almost maniacal attention to details. The flavours are marvellously clean, despite coming from combinations that reveal a taste for complexity, opulence, and also boldness. This chef stretches the palette of flavours using all modern techniques, but without overdoing it. And there is playfulness and obvious generosity. BUT is has to be said that depriving customers of choice and forcing them to make up their minds days or weeks in advance (i.e. when booking) on how many dishes they intend to eat, and whether it is going to be fish or not, pushes control-freakery a bit too far, and it also gives the chef an âunfairâ advantage compared to other colleagues that have to take more risks for the sake of putting his customers more at ease. Commercially, too, it looks like a strange choice, for you can only go to Jasmin if you are prepared to have a gargantuan meal, never simply to relax. The service is conducted by âmumâ with courteousness and smiles but also with a touch of distance and a lack of genuine warmth. There is a feel of everything being a bit mechanical. There is no sense that in the room staff really care for or understand what the chef in the kitchen is pursuing. On one visit, there were also unacceptable delays during the meal (with only 8 people to serve). And the helping waitress was terribly awkward. On balance, this restaurant has a service problem, considering its high status. So while the food itself is top notch, the things 'around' the meal make the experience, while very good, not a perfect one.Dear Guest, thank you for your rating on Tripadvisor. We suppose that your stay was years ago. We would like to communicate that many things have changed in the last two years. âMumâ is actually not doing the service anymore. We would like to specify that there is not an unfair advantage comparing us with other colleagues. The chef is alone in the kitchen. Thatâs his choice, but there is no staff. Everything in the kitchen has to be done by one person. So there is no advantage! Itâs the opposite! ïThank you very much for your attention!Family Obermarzoner

The opportunity to try an all-chestnut dinner was just too attractive not to try, and the kitchen did not disappoint. There was even chestnut beer available, which was not bad at all. We had the chestnut gnocchi and chestnut mousse, both delicious. Of course these were special courses not available all the time, but the creativity and the resulting tastes seem to be indicative of the quality of the kitchen. Comfortable ambiance, and great views from the town.Hello MarshallThank you for your visit and the nice rating! We will not disappoint you next time!Sunny greetings from Barbian

Placed over 1800 meters sea level, this cosy restaurant offers traditional south tirol food with a fast service. It is a nice place to take a break after a hiking or another mountain activities. Wi-fi service doesn't work out properly. I have eaten a good dessert with vanilla cream but I don't remember its name. Beautiful surroundings.

Pleasant interior and décor, but we were not wowed by the most important parts, the food or service. The menu has a small choice of meat dishes and the majority of dishes are either pasta or pizza. I ordered the pork chops from the menu but I got pork ribs. When I complained that it was not what I ordered the waitress did not even say sorry for the mistake. My comment was completely ignored. There was just a very thin layer of meat on these ribs and the meat was dry.In conclusion the place was expensive and not tasty at all.

We drove up to Gassehutte around 10 am and walked the short scenic path to Rinderplatzhutte. We thought we would just stop for a quick coffee but were smitten with the menu which included fresh buttermilk and a dish called Kaiser Schmarrn ( dessert). Obviously his was well known for food in the area as very soon the place was packed with locals and tourists. We were asked if minded sharing our 6 seater table with others ( there was only two of us) Our co occupants ordered a complete meal which too looked amazing. The air is wonderful, the view of the Dolomites outstanding and the food and atmosphere not to be missedBy the way the coffee was great too!

A very nice mixture of restaurant combioning Austrian/Italian culture, good food quality but poor choices for Vegetarians & Vegans sadly besides that all was good. The service was curtious, food well prepared with very good taste.Though I don't drink Beer/Lager etc the choices are excellent & authentic as my friend had a few drinks there.

A modern Restaurant next to a Little lake inside a beautiful parc. The place to be in Brixen.
Once again Brix 0.1 lived up to my expectations. I had waited 2 years to come back to this magical place and again I was entranced by the location, atmosphere, attention to detail, the carefully executed epicurean experience and the attention of the amazing wait staff. Somehow I danced the whole night away on New Year's Eve and welcomed in the new year/day. We experienced both day and night meals in our 3 week visit to this beautiful town. Once again a pleasure.Dear Guest, hello Beryl, thak you so much for your Kind words. We are Looking Forward to see you.Kind regardsBrix 0.1 Team
