The food and service was outstanding We enjoyed a meal on Saturday evening, the place was full but the service was attentive. The food was beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. We asked for advice on wine once we had ordered our meal and was recommended a reasonably priced wine that went well with our food. We are on a wine touring holiday and would have know if we had the wool pulled over our eyes. Very genuine people. Would definitely go back. They will happily speak English if you require it

I think the prices and wine list is ok but the mear was not really served hot rather warm. With mostly lots of fat in it I dont like this at a steakhouse. The cooking also was not really very good, ı think the need a master on top of the grill.

As with any Michelin Starred establishment - the food here was beautifully presented and delicious. We had the discovery menu which was great for those with ethical concerns or less adventurous tastes as there was no fois gras or veal and although surprising combinations were featured, there was no raw meat or fish or divisive ingredients. If you choose the menu carefully, a meal for two with drinks can be had for under £200.

New concept with limited carte/menu but very good food. New cooking style with amazing starters, main courses and desserts.

We found this excellent little restaurant on trip advisor and after a walk through the park we were ready for lunch. The cold tomato soup was absolutely sublime. The smoked pork medallion was very pink but very tasty. Great value and very friendly service. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Discover our kitchen A dominant cuisine based on fresh produce, the quality , the flavors will be at the rendezvous , which sometimes makes us back into childhood memories . The chef offers an inventive cuisine in an accessible intuitive framework fort hi
We went based on Trip Advisor reviews; in a word fantastic! Our server helped us with the menu, our French is limited. He explained the selections, and how they were prepared. The beef carpacchio had pesto, pine nuts and a lovely mix of greens, the cantaloupe salad was excellent. The Beef tartar and duck were very good and the presentation was perfect. Three nice cheeses and a baked apricot and sorbet desert topped it off. The house wines are very good. The chef came and visited us and we had a loverly conversation with him. He showed me the kitchen and introduced me to the staff.Do not pass this place up! Great food, very friendly service! Menu based on what the chef can source for the day!!Thank you so much for your kindly message It was so great to get you in our restaurant and talk with you Enjoy your trip in France in burgoungy Hope to see you soon Take care

Le Comptoir des cousins is serving you fresh and local market cuisine every day for lunch. In the evening, you will discover authentic food from other lands, to share with your friends and loved ones.
Maybe I was expecting too much after reading the excellent reviews, but I was disappointed with the food throughout our evening. We went for an early dinner. Reception and service were both unbeatable. Warm, welcoming and efficient, throughout the evening. Very nice vibe, comfortable seats, and good acoustics, making conversation easy. Management was attentive all evening, always enquiring if everything was good. Well, it was good, and definitely not bad enough to complain. Given the warmth of our welcome, it felt somehow churlish to complain about the finer points of the dishes. The trout ceviche was clumsily cut, with very unevenly sized pieces. I had expressed reservations about using trout for ceviche when ordering, but was convinced otherwise. Mistake. The sauce was too heavy with citrus, as well as being overly watery. The fish tartare consisted of chopped-up pieces that were a tad big, with a fairly bland taste, while the octopus was okay, but only okay. Spices did not zing. The corn cakes we expected when ordering humitas turned out to be a rather pedestrian corn mash. And the dessert of deconstructed lemon meringue tart was overly sweet. We have had far better offerings from restaurants elsewhere, that serve a similarly constructed tapas menu. I wish I could give the restaurant a higher rating, but the food just isn't good enough. In summary, management and service is of the highest order, but the food, although not bad, does not deliver what the description promises. In spite of this, we had an enjoyable evening, and would recommend the restaurant, as long as your expectations of the food are not unrealistically high.

What a lovely, interesting, surprising meal...fantastic ingredients, expertly cooked.... well deserved first spot...highly recommend a visit..Had the six courses, with matched wine....well worth it..not to much food, not to little...my only suggestion is to keep the wine coming...making people wait with empty glasses...Thank you Carmen for your feedback, highly appreciated ! We're pleased to read that you enjoyed your experience at La Mutinerie. Concerning wine pairing, we understand your point of view, it's always a big deal to decide rather to fill your glass up with the wine that follows and matches the next meal when it is not ready to be served, because we're afraid you won't have any wine left to pair it with the meal... But we'll work on that for sure !Hope to welcome you again soon, Best regards,

Accidentally we, 5 Beerlovers, got here. We had some great French IPA's and other great craftbeers. Too bad they didn't serve any food till 18.00. We were litterally starving. Not even nuts. Anyway we had a great time. A great place to have craftbeers when you're visiting Lyon!

We had lunch at this neighborhood restaurant only 10 minutes ride from Lyonâs center. We opted for the menu du jour, although the rest of the catalogue seemed mouthwatering: for starters we had the potato salad with Lyonnais sausage, cornichons and crispy greens, roasted pork with butternut puree as the main course and for dessert one had chocolate fondant and the other red grapefruit tart. Everything was super delicious and cooked with great âmamaâsâ care. Along with a pot of red wine and two coffees the bill came to 44 euros!
