Terrific place for a special occasion meal. We chose the fixed price three course meal and could not have been more satisfied. Every morsel was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. The dress code (business casual) helps provide a nice ambience, and the jazz band (plays on Wednesdays) was superb. The atmosphere was lively without being boisterous. You definately need reservations. By no means cheap, but sooo good.

What a hidden treasure. Such great ambience, authentic Italian food and awesome service. Our friend had pre-ordered all the appetizers and the main course and everything was top notch. The waitress made sure that the appetizers were being brought 2 at a time, not all together, which gave us a chance to really relish them as well as chat away. The personal touch of the Owner Cam coming by to say a Hello and then offering us Sambuca on the house was the icing on the cake. Will definitely be going back to this restaurant, hopefully real soon

During my visit to Vancouver my friend proposed a get together with his husband and a friend of ours. He proposed this place because of the Happy Hour. It was very enjoyable. We were well greeted and decided to sit inside. Alena was our server and was top notch. I followed her advice and my choices were great! I had the meatballs and tiramisu. She asked me which size of red wine and picked the 8oz (not on the menu) The price turned out adequate ($8.).My friends were very happy with their visit as well. We only wish that our friend was not so loud...Will return for sure!Thank you for joining us. Alena is one of our superstars and truly loves making sure our guests well looked after. We will be sure to share your kind words with Alena & our culinary team. We would love for you to join us again soon!Warm regards,Kevin LinAssistant General Manager

Classic french food of the highest quality with wonderful service to match. Everything is done impeccably. My wife and I have been twice and would certainly go back again. The prices given the quality are very reasonable. A wine list to die for, and even the lowest priced bottles will make you happy with your choice.

Old school authentic Italian environment. Service was impeccable and the servers helped each other in the entire restaurant. There was no âthis is not my stationâ I enjoyed a perfectly shaken martini. We decided the menu was interesting and wanted to taste several items so we shared dishes which were split for us at table side. Our server recommended spot prawns because of their short season which were perfectly prepared then to a lobster salad with a main course of rack of lamb and finally a cannoli.....yum. Oops forgot to mention the served bread with olive oil both great quality. Nice wine selection.

Very nice restaurant, in my opinion an old bank building, there was a vault...trendy, saturday night and fully booked so I imagine reservations are recommended !Short menu, with good option, good choice of wines...and what you get is delicious, the portions are not large so you can certainly go for a three course dinner, if not four !friendly and professional service, past a delightful evening.Dear Anthony, thanks for leaving us such a wonderful review. We are thrilled that you loved your experience; our staff will definitely be happy to read what you wrote. We put customer experience and satisfaction as our priority, and your review reaffirms the hard work we put in every day. So thanks for your kind words and we look forward to seeing you again.

During our 3 week vacation in BC and Alaska we visited this place. We got a small table in a quiet corner in the patio. All the food we ordered was good but compared to the portions you get in Italian restaurants in Europe, they were rather small especially compared to the price you pay. Not even a small cookie with our coffee and tea! Their bread is delicious and so was the bottle of rosé wine we ordered.

This movie star caliber owner couple-run place is well managed and highly recommendable as to both the quality and service, along with the values. I would be delighted to bring visitors to Vancouver to this place, where the couple are genuinely friendly. I always look for a small, family run restaurants which tend to cut corners to keep the prices at minimum yet providing quality meals.

Went last evening with a good friend, for dinner. Very nice ambiance. Well spaced tables so we could hear our conversation and not others. Comfortable setting. The service was wonderful. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. I had lame and the other two had the duck. Beautifully prepared. And the Sommelier suggested a very nice wine which complimented both meals. We would happily returnDear Stuart-Barbara,Thank you for dining at Bacchus Restaurant, I am glad that you enjoyed the comfortable setting and the attentive service.
