Not easy to find but worth the effort. A small good value restaurant run by a family with, in this instance, the father doing the cooking. The food was simple, plentiful and well cooked. Rabbit pasta was probably the favorite with the mussels in tomato as a starter mots enjoyable.

Life is short. Time is a precious gift and we should make the best out it. At times, we find ourselves reminiscing about the past, or thinking too much about our future. These both extremes may impede us to live and enjoy today. Our restaurant aims to giv

We wish to let you know the restaurant will be closed till the 7 of February! Regards The management
Staying in St Julianâs but took a trip into Valletta. Did a quick search on TA as fancied some quality Italian food. Some good choices and we went for Papannis and was not disappointed. Had a great meal with excellent service and now thinking about heading back there tomorrow. Suggest you book though as they were turning people away as it was fully booked (naturally as it was excellent!).

If Malta had the Michelin guide, Noni would be safely nudging the 2 star territory; it sure would give any London 1star run for its money any day! The service, was excellent - Alex, the fab Viking-tall Hungarian, was ever present to take care of anything you need. The chef and his team turn out exquisite food, from beautiful amuse bouche, the bread, the olive oil, everything is just lovely! I opted for mushroom consomme with tiny ravioli, as a starter. What an elegant, beautiful dish! It's what haute couture of a mushroom tastes like! I cannot stop singing praises of the rabbit main I had to anyone remotely keen to listen. One word - divine! Exquisite, the best rabbit dish I have had in a long while. Perfectly tender, all the flavours beautifully balanced on the plate, and the accompanying potato bake with fennel seeds is what sin tastes like, worth going to hell for. I (sadly) had no room left for dessert, but I know one thing: Noni would be the first thing I book as soon as the thought of Malta crosses my mind, even before the airfares eventualise. Amazing value for spectacular food too! My bill for all that and a glass of fab wine, â¬41. Knock me out, that's a must on your trip to Malta. A MUST!!!

Great staff, very friendly, happy and helpful - 10 out of 10. Thatâs where it ends. Pasta with sword fish not too bad, quite flavoursome but only average , definitely not more than a 3 star. Grilled fish platter, well for 30 euros I was expecting something quite special. Tuna slightly over cooked, sword fish definitely over cooked, the 2 large prawns and sea bream were moist and quite tasty, salmon boring. I feel bad because the staff were so lovely but Noooo, I wonât be back and would not recommend, donât believe everything you read on trip advisor

Sotto pizzeria italiana, rising up a72 hours, a mixture of selected 4 flour to eat the real Roman pizza. Sotto pizzeria italianaSouth Street in Valletta, 32.
A sizeable menu with many options usually suggest the basics are somehow forgotten...but not here. The pizzas were very good actually and we didnât leave a scrap. The beer menu is smaller but there are some interesting choices on it. Overall, tasty and filling....and we booked to go back 2 days later (recommended as they are rightfully popular and routinely turn people away).

We were so thankful to go to Salvino's as part of our trip. We ate in a few different places, but none were as good as Salvino's, by far. The keyword here is fresh. They strive to cook only with fresh ingredients and this you can absolutely taste on their meals. For example, even the fried calamari was one of the best we ever had in our lives, which is a dish you can't tweak in too many ways. For the main course, we had the daily special, which was also absolutely delicious. When looking at the service, it was very friendly and easygoing. We really appreciated the more laid-back style, while being fully focused on covering all of our needs. The decoration is the only element which is a bit more simple/classic (nothing extra), but meh, with everything else you get, this is absolutely no problem. Especially since the restaurant is in a prime location already. So don't be one of the many people that got sent away while trying to get a table - reserve a place, come and enjoy :)

BEATI PAOLI Restaurant, located at 240, St Paul's Str, Valletta. If it is a lunch or a dinner, BEATI PAOLI is the ultimate restaurant to eat in.
Food, service were outstanding. Small, intimate and charming atmosphere. Chef personally visits each table to make certain food is prepared consistent with dietary restrictions and requests. Service is prompt. Portions are appropriate. Fish is clearly fresh daily. We wanted salads to start and chef accommodated.Overall experience was excellent. This restaurant was head and shoulders above the other seven we tried on our vacation in Malta. It deserves to be Number One. We tried to return but it was sold out the final four nights we were in Malta.

We visited this place on a Wednesday evening and the atmoshpere was very relaxing. As antipasto we took the mixed salumi and cheese (had some porchetta with calabrese cheese to die for). As mains my husband took the pasta with gorgonzola and i with the sausage! Omg it was excellent! Since i was full i took the unfinished pasta with me and two days after it was even better! Will sure visit again! The owner / chef is also a very nice helpful person. Well done :)
