Azzurra (or Pizzeria Azzurra) was much better than anticipated. I guess because the setting was so summer-touristy perfect (elevated outdoor patio overlooking the trees and the pedestrian walkway overlooking the ocean) I thought maybe the food couldn't match the ambiance. Also nice elevated seating indoors overlooking the open kitchen. Very attractive, upscale setting, equaled or exceeded by the food.If you are thinking U.S. pizzeria you are waaaaay off from the extensive offerings here. The menu (which, interestingly, listed in great detail all the food allergy info for all their dishes) had more than 20 really interesting pizzas. In addition, there was were many fish, shellfish and pasta offerings.I had a fantastic prosciutto and cheese white pizza with a thin, thin light crust. Mary ha fresh fish fillets sauteed with zucchini and sweet peppers. She said it was the best fish dish in the previous week (of eating fish practically every night).Extensive and very reasonably priced beers and also wines by the glass. Delightful (and very patient explaining the non-English menu to us) waitress who really gave us great service.Just a great meal and lovely setting for a grand total of 45E. Can't be beat. (BTW, if you want a table with a view as nice as ours, I strongly suggest you ask your lodging host to phone in a reservation.)

A nice place to have a quiet dinner. The linguine with scorpionfish was delicious. Service was good and staff very friendly.

Exactly what you want and what you expect from a bid gourmand rated restaurant. Food is great, fresh and local ingredients and the chef is great in combining them together. I could eat here one week in a row. Staff is nice.
