A very nice comfy restaurant with good food and service. The location is good and all of our meals were tasty accompanied by a decent if a tad expensive primotivo but on holidays so whatever....the menu is mainly italian style but there are other options to suit most people's tastes.Hi Jamie, thank you very much for your nice words. We are honored to receive such a good and positiv feedback. We are happy that you liked your stay and especially our food. best wishes Your Donna Mia Team

We have been there already twice and there will definitely be further visits.Food is excellent, really. Service is nice and friendly. Location is really nice. You can eat outside or Inside. My only little minus point would be : there is no children's menu or dishes. My younger daughter eats as much as a bird, and we did not want to order an adult meal for her. So we asked for an extra plate so that she could pick from us and this was thankfully not an issue. The problem was thus solved. But this might be an idea / suggestion : to add something for children, I would value it.Thanks very much, regarding a childrens fix menü.We tried this, but we have made the experience that the kids always have a different idea about what they want.So we decide to ask what they want - and then we try to fulfill the wishes.

We were looking for a restaurant with local food and some local Mosel wine for our last vacation day. Ended up here, and what a nice surprise it was!The food was expertly paired with the wine they recommended , tasty and memorable, down to earth, yet with layered flavours dancing on the tongue. Yes, ok, we overdid it with the onion cake and Federweissem as starter, but we didn't have to drive, and walked home with a bit of a sway. But it was well worth it, and we roll surely be back sok me time to taste more. And maybe we'll book a roo. in their hotel then, to avoid the 1,2 km walk to where we are staying this time. ;)Dear guest,Thank you very much for your excellent review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay so much and it would be nice to see you again soon. The team of the Glocke

We had reservation, came in, several student-trainees staring at us not even saying Hallo, when we asked for our reservation we were told to wait because at âourâ table is still somebody sitting while half of the tables were free without reservation. We took another table which was free and then read on the table that there is a self-service. So we queued to order. I wanted besides meal also black tea with lemon. âWe dont have lemonâ. Okay. Then Drinks and soup you bring to your table yourself on a tableau. I got a Gordon bleu... with lemon on top of the meat?! Meat was okay. Fries smelling like the oil was used way too many times. We had also asparagus with roasted potatoes. Potatoes good and warm. Asparagus with strawberries was cold and tasted weird. We did not have wine though. Maybe this is the only thing they can offer in good quality. Cannot, judge. Customer experience terrible anyway.

This potato centric restaurant has a nice outdoor patio on a busy square. The menu is not exclusively potatos but they are availible in many ways, some of which are unique! Our group of 6 were very happy with the meals we chose. The service was good and our waitress even asked the chef for the recipe for one of the potato dishes for us!Recommended.

Really enjoyed a good German meal at this busy restaurant with a half bottle of local white Reisling. Sat outside under the umbrellas and we ate a really delicious dish of fried calves liver with onions, apple and creamed potatoes plus a dish of bratwurst, chopped liver, a smoked gammon loin, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Pleasant and helpful staff, good value for the size and quality of the meal. Recommended.

we went here for the first time and were positively surprised. we did not have a reserved table, but they find us a nice table. The service was excellent and very professional.we had the Cordon bleu, which was both very good and a big portion. I can only recommend this place and we will surely go back to test more of their food.

In the pedestrian zone close to the Hauptmarkt (main square) and the Dom you'll find this well known restaurant inside a nice old building (also terrace in summer).Friendly team welcoming you for lunch.Decoration is nice and clean. The tables have white linnen tablecloth&napkins even for lunch. Lunch menu is a good deal: you get a starter (soup or salad) and a main dish (meat or fish or vegetarian) and also a small glass (0.1) of wine for a price of 23.50 Euros pp.Complimentary bread (Baguette and Sauerteigbrot) served with seasoned butter (olives) was a nice touch.Service was friendly. Nice restaurant to chill and enjoy a good meal.Reservations need to be made in advance to be sure to have a table (especially for dinner). We'll be back :) Gerne wieder :)Hello! We are very glad that you have taken the time to write us this detailed feedback. Thank you very much for your kind words about our Restaurant - we are honored to hear that you enjoyed your stay and liked our menu. We're looking forward to your next visit! After sightseeing the centre of Trier, this is an excellent Italian restaurant to finish your day, if you like authentic food. We shared a big Insalata Caprese, that was not the real thing but (fair enough) still a delicious salad. As a main we had Gnocchi al Noci and Pappardelle Pescatora, both fresh and home made. The portions were too big to finish, so we did not try a dessert. The staff was understanding and offered a grappa from the house: great gesture and good digestive. Staff was very attentive and friendly and the bill more than reasonable. We love to come back!
