Cozy restaurant. Professional and attentive service
We visited this tapas restaurant and were very disappointed:1. The red wine was not bad but very cold;2. The salad contained so much oil that we wondered why we got a bottle of oil on the table ;-)3. The fish soup was more like a noodle soup (it containes more noodles than my mother's noodle soup...), the base had not a strong fish taste or was condensed. There were some pieces of small shrimps and other fish, but by far not wat I should expect in a fish soup of ⬠7,50 in a Spanish restaurant. And in the end the in the menu promised garlic wasn't really there.4. I got two pieces of cod. The first small one was "to do". The second one was cold. When I made my comment the reaction was: "Sorry, but you ate already half of it..." 5. And last but not least during our diner the owner started diner together with his assistent in the restaurant, and they had more attention for each other than for their customers...Señor el vino tinto era una botella de vino blanco y se sirve bien frio....el bacalao tardaria en comerlo y se le enfrio podria pedir que se le calentara pero usted lo comio todo....no tengo mas que decirle gracias por su opinion

We happened upon Sarvise in the early afternoon past the "formal" lunch dining hours and were so lucky to notice this great restaurant. We want to take time to compliment the owner and his wife/mother team of chefs who served us an outstanding meal. There were four of us in the group and everyone tried a different appetizer, entree, and dessert and each of us were delighted. The restaurant is filled with character and charm but the best parts were the attentive service by the owner and the delicious one-of-a-kind dishes we relished. We were often "bored" with the menu offerings while we toured Spain because so many restaurants offered exactly the same options prepared in almost identical ways, but Casa Frauca offered unique choices prepared and presented excellently! If you are in the general area, it is worth a trip there, plus this is a small hotel so you can even stay if you have the time!

When we entered the restaurant it was half full and picked a free table. Nobody noticed us even when waving our hands. Other guests came in and have been serviced. We decided to leave. When going out we noticed that we obviously didn't follow the rule to get seated. However, there was no sign or waiter informing about this. We understood that the personnel wanted to educate or punish us for our "wrong" behavior. Very unprofessional! Fortunately there were other restaurants accepting our money and willing to serve us.

Had an evening meal plus dessert here - pizzas, dessert, beers and coffee all for less than 33 euros!! Beat that. Service polished, pizza bases possibly the thinnest we have had, toppings generous.

Tipical Spanish, little-town bar. Lots of ambiance, excellent tapas, restaurant @ second floor with excellent food (three-course meal), very good prices. very good privce
Family run and very pleasant they are too. Good buzz in the place and good priced set menu. Food basic fare and wines also ok. Good selection of salads to start and chicken broth fine but not as hearty as expected. Not many vegetables in sight on the various meat dishes.Authentic and charming

Don't miss this gem if you're visiting Torla. The artichoke "pudding" (more like a flan) with jambon and roasted red pepper sauce was heavenly. My steak was thin sliced, but seared perfectly outside and rare inside, tender as could be. My wife had grilled pork tenderloins in a tarragon cream sauce that was also delicious. The tarijillo dessert put it all over the top. Lovely service in a charming dining room. Did I mention the menu is only 23 euros and the restaurant has a Michelin star?
