Went here for early lunch today with a friend who is local & comes here quite often. We both had jacket potatoâs with prawn filling & side salad. All lovely & fresh & cooked perfectly. Seems quite a popular cafe with outside seating, loo & changing facility. If youâre in the area, a must or passing through en route to Aberdare maybe.

We had heard of this restaurant and thought we would try it for our 44th wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint, lovely food, atmosphere and friendly staff.We had homemade Tomato and Basil Soup and Whitebait for starters, both generous portions and very nice.We both chose Lamb in Redcurrant and Madeira for main, it was lovely, came with New potatoes, peas, tempura cauliflower and onion rings. The cauliflower was gorgeous and I donât eat cauliflower normally, says it all.I did try the White Chocolate and Raspberry Cheesecake for dessert but I was so full I could not manage to eat it all, hubby was too full for dessert.I had 2 Glasses of Sauvignon Blanc, hubby had water as he was driving, all in all it was a lovely meal, and the price is very reasonable, will definitely be going back there.

Went for lunch and had a lovely three course menu. Staff were lovely and food was up to a very high standard. Prepared and cooked by three young chefs who came out and introduced themselves after. Talking about their creations they made sound so simple, well done. It was a pleasure to meet you all, and we look forward to repeating the experience very very soon.
