Was visiting Thiers and came across this little restaurant for lunch. Good welcome and attentive service by nice lady and a young waiter which I think was quite new. I had the 12⬠menu, which consist of stater and desserts buffet and main course. Unlimited Starter buffet had lots of choices , from pâté to ham, salads etc. All looked and tasted fresh. Main, I chose steak frites, nicely cooked and sufficient portion. Dessert was a bit of let down in terms of choice but I was full at that point anyway. Wife choose a salmon main course which was enormous with a lovely sweet potato cake. Sister went for tête de veau ( veal head) this was also big and tasty , see pic. A great find for the price in a nice full atmosphere restaurant . Defo recommend this little gem

This restaurant serves home made Auvergne food. Try the local cured ham, pounti (mix of pork meat, veggies and fruit), truffade (potatoes and cheese mix). Most dishes are made in house with local products, no frozen food here!Desserts are home made also.The restaurant is located in the old city center, it's clean if not really design, it could be warmer with a little older lay out, maybe less lights, but the boss is so nice that you'll forget about this quickly.Fair parices as well.

We decided to give this place a miss after looking at the menu and prices, as well as the food people were being served. Far too little choice, especially for anyone with dietary restrictions, and pricey for what we saw being served, which seemed overly fussy rather than well presented.
