I've visited three pizzerias in Tarnów, the first in 2007 which I didn't review on TripAdvisor, the second was 'F1 Pub' now called 'Grand Prix Pizzeria'. Rycerska seems better than most in town. Walking in you are greeted with the sight of a pizza preparation area including the stone pizza oven which sets the tone and creates a great environment. While the typical Polish 'hunters' theme and decor may not mix with a pizzeria or Italian cuisine, it does create a pleasant atmosphere in which to dine.Spicy food isn't commonly found in Poland so it was great to find a pepperoni and jalapeno pizza, one of two different pizzas we ordered. They also have a hot, spicy sauce which went down well with our large group too. We won't deny we came late, but there were some very obvious hints at trying to get us to leave once we had devoured our pizzas. For this, one TripAdvisor 'blob' is lost for service but this didn't impact on the overall experience which was excellent.Rycerska is more than just a pizzeria however as they do serve some Polish cuisine and also have a childrens' menu.Unless we find a better pizzeria in Tarnów, we declare this the best... For now...Would return and strongly recommend.

We invite you to a cozy space that creates a semi-restaurant and a semi-cafeteria. Thanks to this, it is suitable both for a business meeting, a romantic dinner and a family party as well as for a loose lunch with a friend, working with a laptop or meetin
The food was excellent and plates beutifully served. We were 6 adults and 3 children. All the dishes were tasty. Lamb chops - the best i have ever eaten ever, and i have eaten in many countries. The children meals were good, huge portions, and all for reasonable prices. Excellent resaurant.

Great restaurant hidden away from the main city roads. Welcoming interior with very nice wait staff and delicious food. We tried pizza, potato pancakes with goulash and pierogi with prunes. Portions are quite large and the presentation and the taste are wonderful. Stop by and you will not regret it. Will definitely be back.

Krzyska Restaurant offers classical dishes of European cuisine as well as traditional Polish dishes. We offer our guests wide choice of seasonal fruit and vegetable, tender fish and meat with aromatic sauces: dishes which are suitable for a light lunch an
I'm a tour guide and I usually work with the groups coming to Kraków, but from time to time I also work with the tourists willing to see something outside of the city. This is when I always have a problem - on my territory (which is Kraków) I always know where to go to eat when I have a challenging group. When I'm not close to home, I'm lost. Last may I was working with a group of 9 people that were willing to see the places connected with the Jewish heritage in the area of Galicia. We were planning to see DÄ browa Tarnowska and Tarnów and I had some trouble with finding the right place for lunch (my group had some special requests about their food). Luckily I managed to google Willa Krzyska - so close to the entrance to the highway to Kraków. The food was really good, served in a very elegant way. Service was proffesional, everything went really smooth with the reservation and later service of a group of 9. I didn't have to translate as the waiter spoke English good enough to communicate with my clients. I was happy to see that even though they have quite an "international" menu (I have no idea what kind of cuisine that was supposed to be) I could find some Polish dishes there (like pierogi), which is something that my clients wanted to try - also in the vegeterian version (which was crucial for some of them). The waiter also could explain everything about the ingredients of the dishes - very important to my challenging group!Overall I would rate them really high - I faced no problems there and I could have a break from my work. And I really appreciate the places that allow me to have a break in my work. :)

We are a restaurant serving Jewish and Galician cuisine. We are in the building of an old Israeli bath. We are inspired by the taste and culture of our region
Very interesting place. Jewish cradle is unusual and unmatched. I am often in Izrael and I admit that what I found in Tarnów surprised me positively. State of the building - dramatic. The kitchen compensates for everything. It is wonderful and amazing with a sense of taste

This is a welcoming restaurant frequented by locals. The chicken soup was very flavorful, and mixed pierogi platter had tasty fillings and perfectly made dough. The staff even offered us tourist materials for Tarnow, which made us feel very welcome. Will return during our next visit to the town.

The food is always well prepared from good quality products which gives appropriate taste to all meals. Great atmosphere and nice music. Waiters are doing great job, they are nice and friendly. Prices are proper to the quality. I really recommend this restaurant. Is one of my favorite one here in Tarnow.

Neatly designed, elegant (watch the incredible ceiling!!) and very cosy Polish / Italian café.Both connected main rooms are beautifully designed, decorated and furnished, in a quite Baltic fashion. This place is comfortable.Restroom is very clean and modern.Nice menu, cool laidback music, good products and kind staff: definately worth a visit in lovely Tarnów, 1minute away from the incredible Renaissance main square ("rynek").

Restaurant and cafe located in the centre of Tarnów on the main square serving mediterranean as well as tradional Polish cuisine.
Ground floor of the Euro hotel "u Jana" is taken by restaurant, which in summer is located mainly in front of the building, with all tables with big umbrellas. When we got there all tables outside were taken, so we were forced to stay indoors. No air-con, and on that very hot day the hotel interior was even hotter than the main square. That's because of high temperature coming from the kitchen. So as soon as one of the outside tables vacated we jumped out of the building, already all sweated. But it was worth all those inconveniences, as the food was really good, and served quite quickly. Would say - number of guests shows how good the food was, but to be honest all of those restaurants in open air were extremely busy that night, so probably all of them were serving delicious meals. But we recommend U Jana - must be the top one of them all.

We had heard about Restauracja Soprano from friends as well as noting its high rating on TripAdvisor. Finally, after years of visiting Tarnów, we paid a visit and enjoyed bruschetta and the fantastic seafood pasta. The service was great, the food and wine matched the service and we couldn't fault Soprano in any aspect of its delivery. I don't know of anywhere in Tarnów which could beat Soprano at the moment. Highly recommended and we would undoubtedly return.
