Reviews on European food in Taipei, Taiwan. You can eat very well—and very cheaply—in Taipei. The restaurants may not look posh, but the quality of the food is superlative. And there’s a huge variety of restaurants—in addition to local Taiwanese specialties, you’ll find regional cuisines from all over China, as well as great Indian, Japanese and even Italian options. Just make sure to leave some room for snacks—street-vendor food here is addictive.

Detailed oriented service, waiter and waitress are knowledgeable on menu. Food was excellent just one suggestion, the sorbet is preferred to be served between soup and main course to rinse the palate, or else it feels like having two desserts. Dear,Thank you for your feedback. We work hard to meet expectations like yours, and weâre happy to hear we hit the mark for you.We also appreciate you opinion. The sorbet is actually considered to be a pre-dessert on the menu. Sorry for confusing you. Once again, thank you so much for taking the time to leave this excellent review. We look forward to having you here next time!

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Taipei Nangang, and ate each morning at "Sunrise," the buffet restaurant (outdoor seating available). The "spread" was tremendous. Certain items were better than others, and obviously individual taste comes into play, but the assortment of foods, pastries, drinks, etc. was excellent. We left sated and fully "fueled" for each of our days in Taipei. On one day I met a colleague who lives in Taipei for lunch. Since the hotel was at a Metro Stop, he just came via subway, and we decided to eat the lunch buffet. Colleague was VERY satisfied! Good selection of seafood, meats, salads, desserts.Every dining experience here was a good one! Reasonable prices.

We went to this small cosy restaurant for dinner on a Saturday evening. The service is efficient and relaxed. We both ate one of the risottos and both food and wine were very nice. A bit on the pricey side though, considering the price - quality ratio of food that can be found in Taipei.

As an English speaker, I chose one of the set meals. When the last course came, we were stuffed. The waiter gave us the option of taking a bottle of wine home. Attention to detail and outstanding service make this a unique visit to Taipei. And check out the gold floors! They paint them yearly to keep them sparkly. Iâve added pictures as to what was included with our dinner.

The main dining room opens to the atrium and lends a sense of space and brightness. The interior captures the grace of southern France, Italy, and Greece as expressed in marble pillars, peach white arches, and classical chandeliers. The Mediterranean brin
