So tender, juicy and tasty, served with potato cake with bacon. This is when the Hungarian kitchen is at its best.In the middle of the tourist trail through the small village and still no overpricing and really amazing food.Sit outside in the garden or on the street if the weather is ok, otherwise lots of places in the restaurant.

Hungarian and Belgian Craftsman's Brasserie, you can choose from over 100 kinds of beer, a selection of specialty short drinks from all over the world. We work whith kitchens, ranging from classic crossbreeds to handmade burgers to barbecue tables.
We decided to eat here after reading good reviews on TripAdvisor. This place did not fail us. Attentive, joyful, welcoming staff looking like they own the place. I guess they are indeed owners. The burger was good, especially for those who like burgers. Amazing choice of beers in bottles, the draft Hungarian Imperial was of great taste and quality! Home made lemonade prepared in our presence was very good and not sweet!

My wife and I are from New York City and have eaten Greek food at some of the best Greek restaurants there. We just had the best moussaka we've ever tasted...in Szentendre, Hungary! Our avocado salad, pits bread, and baba ghanoush were also amazing! The service was fantastic. We sat outside and it was beautiful. A must to visit if you get hungry in Szentendre!!

My companion had never had them, though; so why not?, I thought. Can't go wrong with mussels, I thought. Why not... well, when the mussels are fresh, that's one thing. When they're those that are sold cooked, in their broth, awaiting only a shake of the seasoning tin and a mirepoix to be re-heated, that's another.Whichever they were (and I strongly suspect the latter), they were overheated / overcooked, shrunken, rubbery. I fed my companion one.Furcsa, she said of her mussel. Weird. I winced, and apologised, and and assured her that another time I would find her some mussels fit to eat.***Ambience, nice enough for a restaurant in a day-tripper tat-store aggregation (that's "tat" as in dustcatchers, as in tchotchkelek, as in not-made-here, as in yard-sale bounty; think buses of tourists emptying into outlet mall where every store sells crystals and aprons stencilled HUNGARY) masqueradiing as a boatmen's village turned artist colony. We missed Szentendre at its peak, I suppose -- should have checked it out before the First World War.Service, good if not cheery. Food, unhappily bad. (My companion praised her salad.) Price / value-for-money, painful. But clearly I ordered the wrong thing.Credit cards not accepted.Köszönjük a 3 pontot,öntÅl egy Michelin-Csillagot ér. Klément Ferenc

We had a nice lunch sitting outside on their terrace overlooking the river. The chicken came with broccoli (some much needed greenery!) and pesto balls. All very tasty! The meal was a bit pricier than other places we had been to but understandable give how touristy Szentendre is.

If you think about the word âcosyâ this place is it with capital letters. :) The owner is the most friendly and warmest person Iâve ever met, and the food was really authentic so delicious, I would say perfect. I reccomend it to everybody, even you go with your family or you want to spend a romantic time with your love. Great restaurant. Will be back soon.

Trattoria Cardinale is a great place for a meal - especially in the summer time when you can sit outside. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They even provide blankets outside for chilly nights. They make delicious homemade lemonade. Every table has a live basil plant in the middle. The menus are in English, Hungarian, and Italian. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

Not on the high street, but a brilliant little gem of a place serving a range of food styles including traditional Hungarian. A warm welcome, very good service and really great food. We wnet twice, the second time because the picky teen wanted to have his birthday dinner there, even through we had to travel an hour from the center of Budapest. I had the wild boar stew both times - excellent - and others had steak (pronounced the best ever) and the goulash soup ("amazing"). Definitely worth bypassing the tourist traps.Dear Quadrantus,Thank you, we appreciate all feedback and try to learn from it. We truly hope that you'll return and enjoy the same experience that keeps bringing back guests for more than 40 years to Aranysárkány.Attila Máhr Jr.

Weâve heard about this place before, so as we had a trip not so far away, we decided to come by and was definitely a great idea. Both the appetizer and the pizzas we asked for tasted amazing, and we got them pretty quickly. The waitress was nice and helpful regarding what to choose, so itâs highly recommended! :)
