Every time we went there the food was great, may it be dinner, coffee and cake or just a snack, you will always get great quality of German food for a valuable price. They have a big terrace to sit outside and a playground for kids.Would absolutely recommend.

The food was great, the restaurant very busy on the Monday after Easter. They have a trout farm and the local trout is served about as fresh as you can get it. You can order it prepared in many ways, including the whole fish both as Blauforelle ( steamed), Muellerin Art (pan fried with a slight breading, whole) or as a filet with various sauces. The meat dishes are excellent as well. Pricing is slightly above mid-range, but well worth it. Get reservations, particularly on the weekend. There is a free animal park, petting zoo and large play area for children and family. Also free access to the trout ponds, where you can feed the fish. Antique farm equipment including a 1950 Lanz Bulldog. Groomed hiking trails all around the restaurant. This makes it a nice day destination for the whole family. Parking is abundant and free.Thank you!

Visited 4th November, business trip. The food and service were excellent. Apparently the views are marvellous during the day. Would totally recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting the area. Hope to be back there soon

The Guesthouse Bad Osterfingen is situated in the Klettgau (canton of Schaffhausen) in a beautiful wine area. They make their own wines (which are very good) and offer great meals. The kitchen is very good. They have a great terrace where you can eat under the trees. We could not eat outside as it was to windy. The menus come with nearly no side dishes. If one would like to get some vegetable with the meal, it has to be ordered (and payed) separately. We found the service very friendly but not very professional. In a restaurant of this price class we would expect a well looked after the guests service.
Petite salle agréable, décorations traditionnelles. Service attentionné, repas simple mais de qualité et goûteuse. Nous etions 15 personnes et avions prévu un menu avec la patronne. Excellent pinot noir du cru Aoc Hallau.

Thanks to the positive reviews here I discovered this restaurant in Neunkirch - a charming village well off the beaten tracks.Gemeindehaus (official name: Gmaandhuus8213) is an old traditional house featuring a superb dining room - cozy and very "gemütlich". Thumbs-up for the genuinely friendly service, partly provided by the tenant himself. The menu is short, with focus on traditional Swiss dishes and local produce. As starter I chose a seasonal wild garlic soup. Good and simple - generous portion, full of flavour, revigorating. As main course I chose one of the house specialties: Wienerschnitzel. Delicious, the escalope was very tender, and crispy without being greasy. The homemade wild garlic spaetzli were also quite tasty.Eventually I indulged in a refreshing dessert: Panna Cotta with rhubarb compote. Tasty and generous portion.Despite the great quality, prices remain surprisingly moderate for Swiss standards. Including wine and coffee the bill amounted to CHF72.50

Great hotel, warm welcome. Very traditional hotel with unusual decor. All the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was large, warm and traditional. Restaurant was very busy and the food was great. We had some very good local wine, recommended by the staff. Overall a lovely place to stay. Eating here is a must. Very very good

In the middle of nowhere you will discover this lovely place GENG´s LINDE.In the south of black forest, in a lost village called Mauchen. Not only the outside got modified from old to modern but also the whole inside life. The elder generation is helping the young generation, which we really enjoyed and makes this place full with a special vibe. Young and elder guests do enjoy the same place and food. A modern and quite stylish place with an eye to functionality and done with a lot of taste.Small menu but an amazing high standard kitchen. Service quick, friendly and very professional. Lovely vine (not only local ones), menu was presented from a qualified staff able to explain properly the menu. The portions not to small and not to big â just perfect. The food is divine! We ordered 3 different dishes and all were perfect.Warm colours, bright wood outlook and parquet â a place where you enjoy good food and relax amazing food and great vine.Big compliment to the whole Geng Crew â we will not only recommend you but definitely come back. Great job!
