Dette er en spiseplass som sikkert vil bli bedre med tiden. Fikk en god hamburger som var meget smakfull. Bestilte og en stor steak som også var meget nydelig. Problemet er at servitørene er veldig urutinerte og fremstår som massene dessverre. Den ene ølet var 0,25 til en meget ublu pris. Dahls ble servert i 0,4. Utvalg av øl er meget bra. Konklusjon: god mat og med mer rutine vil sikkert dette bli en bra plass.

Vi bestilte en mengde småretter og fikk langt over forventning. Et hav av smaker og alt ble forklart etter hvert spm rettene ble båret inn. Perfekt for slow Food og hyggelige samtaler. Skal du spise godt i Steinkjer -besøk Famille!

Bølabua er et veldig bra stoppested både for å se, slappe av og spise. Man bør ta spaserturen ned til Bølareinen når man først er der. Fint å sitte ute. Veldig god mat. Kan anbefale både elgkjøttkakene og elgburgeren. Veldig godt-kan ikke sammenlignes med vanlig vegkro-mat.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very nice lunch-dishes to eat in or take out. Good selection of meat-cuts normally not available in grocery stores in Steinkjer-region. Good selection of locally produced shelf-staples (flour, spices, coffe) and micro-brewery beer. AMAZING cinnamon rolls. Alas, even in season, no fruit or veg - locally sourced or other.

I might as well give this restaurant a 3 star review, but the concept and the idealism of this steak house boosts up the experience. Steinkjer needs this kind of concept,and quality food restaurants. The meet comes from a farm in Beistaden, and the texture of the meet is fine. A better touch in the kitchen would have given the entrecôte more attention when eating, but itâs the side orders who really takes the lead. The broccoli with nuts and chili is a little foodgazm itself. I strongly recommend to order more than you might desire of the side orders. They are cheep and gives you a great time at the table. The French Fries were the biggest disappointment. Tasted like they were brought in from McDonald. Even if this place has it challenges, slow service at the start (but exceptional at the end), itâs a restaurant to support upon, and itâs philosophy regarding meet and short-traveled food should be considered. Also the selection of Austmann beer is stunning.
