Had 'Lazy afternoon tea' where you get to enjoy small pieces of different cakes. Brownies was really tasty and chocolate they use is Tony Chocolony. Moreover, it comes with a glass of tea. A social responsible concept restaurant. The one the Gouda has a beautiful old Dutch interior.

Our friend lives nearby it was our treat. It was busy but two tables were put together and our drink order was taken and we ordered our pizza,s and they were perfect thin and all fresh toppings. The staff were very efficient and friendly. However a word of warning to International visitors, they only take local bank cards, in my case mine were Visa no joy there at all. Luckily I had enough cash to pay the bill.A sign really should be displayed to that effect to warn customers who are not local.Would I return yes.Forewarned is forearmed.A practice I hope that is very rare

Well, just as I said in the title, the serve an excellent and wide variety of Mediterranean food, Italian style with a friendly staff and for a good value. Can be a bit crowded, though, but it is a very popular restaurant!

This is an all u can eat restaurant, majority of plates like steaks, lobsters and fish are cooked upon request and to your taste. It also offers good quality sushi and chocolate fountain. Price includes beer and coffee as well. Food quality is very good and atmosphere is nice. The cost depends on how long you stay, the longer the time the higher the cost.It starts at 25 euros for 1 hour as I recall. It is worth trying.

I've enjoyed my sandwich but my partner got a too complicated 'club sandwich' which was an absolute disaster when eating (everything fell apart)Was a piece of artwork though, lol.Very nice staff. We were the only custumors but felt like we had to wait a bit long for 2 cold lunch dishes.Overall, nice experience great fresh food. Definitely visiting again.

Have been to this restaurant several times over the years, and have never been disappointed. Huge portions of good food, not the cheapest but well worth the expense. Love the garden and it's retractable roof for when it rains. Took my mother there for her birthday recently, it's probably the best place in the area for vegetarian food, and she loved it. Very good indeed.

When you choose to travel by car for a visit to tapas restaurant "Olijf", the multilevel car park "Boekenberg" is especially suited for the purpose. The pedestrian way-out drops you right behind the restaurant and the parking fee is moderate. The web site of "Olijf" contains this excellent advice. The restaurant is located in a historic building in the Voorstraat, one of the streets that are left over from the old village Spijkenisse. The atmosphere of the restaurant can be soothing, except that there were somewhat more flies in residence than you could wish in a restaurant with an open kitchen. Later on the evening one fly decided to have a bath in my wine glass. Brrr... Furthermore, the somewhat irritating music over the speaker system clashed with the restaurant appointments. It is my opinion that music in shops or restaurants is mostly there for the pleasure of the staff, not for the customer. Service of the staff was friendly, but mechanically. The Dutch are not very good in hospitality and serving customers, not like Italy, where hospitality and serving customers is an art. Furthermore, our waitress omitted to bring clean plates for the main course; a grave mistake. It was also difficult to attract the attention of the staff. In the end it was impossible to get our bill presented to the table, so we decided to take our coats and ask for the bill at the counter. But how was the food then? Olijf is a tapas restaurant, where you share with your table companion divers small portions, ordered from the menu. Generally, the food was well prepared. Sauces are to be avoided, they come out of a bottle. I must say the slices egg pancake with salmon and cream cheese filling were delicious and also the pork medallions with bacon wrapping were cooked perfectly. However, later on my digestion system told me that possibly the chef of Olijf uses flavour enhancers in the preparation of the food. Maybe salt MSG. (Also called ve-tsin in Chinese restaurants). I may be wrong, but I am very sensitive for this additive. What shall I say about Olijf. It can be a very nice restaurant when some easy improvements are made by the management. But they do something right. The restaurant was busy on this weekday and mostly with regular customers.

I have come here a couple of times over the last few weeks and have not been disappointed. Typical Dutch restaurant/fastfood place. Good choice and service is fast. Pity staff is chit chatting amongst themselves rather than with customers who 'pay the rent'.
