Great pizza and pasta, really 5 out of 5. Service (Milan and others) very good, friendly and quick. Good wine! Only minus is the cannoli dessert, didn't taste very fresh. Brownie was excellent.

Sotto pizzeria italiana, rising up a72 hours, a mixture of selected 4 flour to eat the real Roman pizza. Sotto pizzeria italianaSouth Street in Valletta, 32.
A sizeable menu with many options usually suggest the basics are somehow forgotten...but not here. The pizzas were very good actually and we didnât leave a scrap. The beer menu is smaller but there are some interesting choices on it. Overall, tasty and filling....and we booked to go back 2 days later (recommended as they are rightfully popular and routinely turn people away).

Really good pasta with a price making it great value for money. You select the sauce and type of pasta (e.g. arrabiata & tagliatelle) - your pasta is prepared for you in a open kitchen.Good, fresh ingredients leading to good quality food. Recommended for pasta in Malta.

It's a small and cute cafe with friendly staff. I had salmon and avocado on rye bread and it was very tasty. The portion was rather big. Would recommend this place.

We came across this in passing and were not dissapointed. The bistro has a great view of the harbour, although be warned you will have Maltese drivers flying past tooting their horn, and has all the attributes of a fine dining bistro. We had traditional Maltese rabbit to start and were given complimentary bread with a delicious caper sauce. For main course we had the lamb special which was so tender and succulent served with vegetables and chips and a fresh tuna steak salad which was well cooked and fresh.

Always try to sample an many different restaurants as possible on any trip, but we ate here twice on consecutive nights as the food was so good. Their burgers and pizzas are exceptional and they understand what a side salad is! Very good value too.

What a lovely little restaurant. We came here after arriving late into Sliema. The cafe is relatively small with beer, wine and champagne bottles decorating the walls. The waitress could not have been more helpful and helped us select a beautiful Sicilian wine. We had a couple of arancini to start, which were fantastic - I'm no massive fan, but these were certainly the nicest I've ever had. My wife and I then both had the tortelini which was exceptional - my wife thought it was the best pasta she has ever had. Well worth searching out this little gem.

We specialize in cooking seafood for takeaway. Daily fresh seasonal seafood available in stock. Come in or order by phone for pick up.
It may just be our bad luck or the fact that we were the only Asian-looking tourists around (and the lads thought we didnât know any better)... The fish and chips were the worst weâve ever had - coming from Australia we have had a few good ones. For 9 euros we got one (rather small) piece of over cooked cod with minimal batter and soggy chips. The fish was so dry and tough even the kids didnât want it. The chips were clearly deep fried in old, stale oil and was awful. And to think we specifically walked for 20min to get to this place based on reviews. There was unfortunately nothing âgourmetâ about the food. Just overpriced, and the joint had nowhere to sit except for two bar stools - and at the counter they asked us: would you like to eat in or takeaway? Eat in where?? If you want good fish and chips there are - as we discovered later - many better options around the island. Like the Sea Shell Fish and Chips in Bugibba and even many of the restaurants in Sliema and Valletta do a good (and fairly priced) deal on fish and chips. For less than or similar to what this joint charge for âgourmet takeawayâ you can get better food and enjoy proper table service (some place for 7 euros with a drink!).A really bad experience for us and we would advise other to be cautious - at least check whatâs in the takeaway box before you walk away..

We are a small Osteria and Restaurant with specialties, gourmet platters, every day for lunch, we offer a different gastronomy menu, we have our gourmet sandwiches with the best Italian salami and cheese, Calabria Food
We visited this place on a Wednesday evening and the atmoshpere was very relaxing. As antipasto we took the mixed salumi and cheese (had some porchetta with calabrese cheese to die for). As mains my husband took the pasta with gorgonzola and i with the sausage! Omg it was excellent! Since i was full i took the unfinished pasta with me and two days after it was even better! Will sure visit again! The owner / chef is also a very nice helpful person. Well done :)
