Not open on Wednesday, but still a great visit with very well prepared lunches the other weekdays. Definitely worth a visit, has the original Greek charm but in a modern and chic atmosphere.

Previously Il Mondo di Miccoli, which was a great Italian restaurant, recently taken over by a new chef. Been there on a summer evening. Quite surprising. Chef is experimenting and we were allowed to try a new "amuse". Like the fact that not a lot of cream is used. Ingredients good. Nicely put on the plate.Recommended ! To the chef: Keep it up and keep experimenting.

This is perhaps the restaurant in Belgium with the biggest stock of live lobsters. This is not a big restaurant but they give great attention to the quality of food and services. From starter, main course and dessert, they are all very good. Just come and spend a nice time here .

This restaurant has been refurbished and looks very nice. Also the food is excellent with a large choice for everyone. Extensive wine choice. The tastes are well balanced. A pity it is quite noisy.

This restaurant opened a couple of months ago and it is a great add on to the restaurant scene of the Ghent region. Despite being new, it was already heaving and I would strongly recommend making reservations. Good location with off street parking. The restaurant itself is very pleasant: a beautiful house surrounded by a well maintained garden. It feels like having dinner at some friend's place. The staff couldn't be nicer from the moment you arrive till you leave. On the ground floor you have the (semi-open) kitchen and a nice bar with the restaurant on the first floor. Very pleasant decor with view on the garden. We went for the four course menu at 50 Euro, fabulous and extremely good value.Service was good and efficient despite having arrived at 9 pm when the restaurant was full. The wine list is also amazing. Great selection of top Burgundy producers and from other regions but more importantly with a small mark-up, if only more restaurants were doing this. This is definitely the restaurant I will return to when again in Ghent and I would expect it to become a Michelin starred restaurant pretty soon.

This place is probably the most successful restaurant of the region. Book your table as this brasserie is often having a full house. And this is very well deserved. No wonder when you combine very nice staff with very good food. FYI - The booking online is very convenient. There is parking close by. Only point that I would like to make is that the price of the food and drinks is high for a brasserie. But again, for that you get high quality.

The service is mesmerizing, staff gives one a lot of personal attention. Room is decorated in exquisite taste. Quit setting. Open kitchen.Clearly, the owner-cook is passionate about his art, and almost looks like an alchemist when stirring in his "caldrons". I appreciate it that he, nevertheless, still finds the time for small talk and cracking a joke with his guests.and oh, I forgot to mention: the lobsters are mouth-watering and out-of-this world.

We went for dinner and only had mains & desserts. The food was excellent, we both had steak the portion was huge fortunately they allowed our small dog in the restaurant and she shared it with us.The service was also excellent, a very extensive wine list covering all prices my partner had a 30 year old Brandy which was excellent, the price was reasonable for the age & quality.Would definitely return if in the area.

Beautiful place and beautiful person! I always come in Gent for work and it's the third time that I sleep in Hof ter Leie. I always take a dinner in this beautiful place, and I must says, as I'm Italian, that the food is really good. The owner are really polite and professional.
