What a find! £23 for three delicious courses and fabulous service. With a changing menu de jour and an equally fantastic looking a la carte menu we were spoilt for choice. All complemented by a reasonably priced but expansive wine list.We will be going back!

What a lovely hotel. We went for a Xmas party. The food was excellent, good beer, good service. Hotel room was decent size, nicely decorated and had patio doors opening on to the garden. Will definitely use this hotel again and would recommend.

The West Country called, and after a hiatus from the world of restaurants of some 3 years, I decided to open a little restaurant in Sherborne, Dorset. I've called it "Newell Restaurant & Rooms" With me, Tracey, in the dining room and hubby Paul, in the ki
The food is excellent no two ways about it. We had the crab bisque to start and all 4 of us loved it and the homemade bread truly is to die for. We all then had different fish main courses, I can strongly recommend the mussels, all of it was cooked to perfection. We went on a Saturday lunch time and were the only patrons so it did lack a bit of atmosphere. The prices are not cheap expect to pay £30 per person for a starter, main course and wine should you be drinking, but you can spend more and get a lot worse that is for sure. That you to both Tracey and the chef for making my mum and dadâs anniversary special.
