My partner and I are both vegan and we had a splendid meal each. Sadly we could manage only a main course as the portions are generous. The service was good. Welcome to VeroGusto, our family-run, authentic and award-winning Italian restaurant and caffé, right in the heart of Sheffield city centre. We're passionate about great food, wine and hospitality, and so are our customers who have enjoyed our fare since
Veragusto is not a cheap Italian. It is subtly understated on first viewing form outside. Inside it is modern and refined. The menu at first glance looks familiar but, on second and third glance it has freshness nd interest and vitality. Subtle and unxpected takes on traditional Italian menus. It is not fine dining prices but you do pay more for a lovely dining experience and some great tastes form the kitchen. The wine list has an interesting range - the lowest bottle is around the £20 - an interesting Planeta form Sicily is another £10 - so not over-priced. The food was excellent - a fish nd seafood broth was beautifully prepared and tasted rich and perfectly balanced. Service was attentive and friendly without being at all fussy or over formal. I would eat here again and again.

Award Winning Italian Fine Dining Restaurant with a great atmosphere and a beautiful 'Al Fresco' Dining area over looking the park.
First time eating here and it did not disappoint. The food was lovely. Had the goats cheese and beetroot risotto which was delicious with the pork as a main. Really good. The only downside is the service although staff were really friendly and helpful the service itself felt very rushed with one member of staff nearly running into me. I felt as though I couldn't relax and felt a little on edge through out the meal.

Kia's Pastaria is an Italian Restaurant which specialise in Pasta dishes using the finest sourced ingredients. Chef Kia freshly prepares each dish to order. Our restaurant provides a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can sit and relax with friends an
Given the number of "Excellent" reviews that Kia's Pastaria has received, I was expecting a very special dining experience when I visited the establishment with my wife yesterday evening. It was our first visit. The service was excellent - helpful, friendly and attentive. As it was my birthday, we went for three courses with alcoholic beverages too. The starters were substantial. I ordered the meatballs and my wife ordered the risotto balls. They both came with a rich tomato-based sauces and both were filling - perhaps too filling. For the main course we both ordered pasta dishes. The beef pasta special included soft chunks of meat in a rich tomatoey sauce which seemed identical to the sauce we had had with our starters. I felt there was not enough penne in the mixture - too much meat and sauce. In contrast, the fettuccine pollo e pancetta was nicely balanced. For dessert we chose posset de limoncello. Small tubs with a couple of berries on top. Quite expensive at £5.95 each and there was a distinct flavour of tinned evaporated milk in there. Please don't get me wrong. The meal was good but for us it somehow lacked the "wow" factor we had been expecting. KIa's is definitely better than okay but five stars? Not in our judgement.

Popped in to this place after a long shopping trip with my girlfriend and couldn't have been happier. Really nice layout and design, also as a former barista of over 10 years i can say with confidence coffee was fantastic. We will be back to try the food upon our next visit as it looked amazing but neither of us were hungry at the time. Big thanks to rebecca for looking after us, really nice to see someone really enjoying their work and is clearly an asset to the team. Cant wait to come again, if the food is as good as the coffee and service we have found our coffee shop in the meadow hall for good.

My wife had booked this restaurant for my birthday and from the moment we walked in we felt very relaxed. When our waitress came with the menus she explained each item on the menu and recommended a wine. Whilst waiting for our starters our waitress brought a sample starter for us to try, the food throughout the evening was excellent. Thanks for a great evening and looking forward to our next visit.Hello,Thank you so much for leaving us such a glowing review. We're glad that you had an enjoyable, relaxed evening with us and that you appreciated all our little extra touches. Friendly welcome, very delicious food. We were a party of 6 ladies and shared 2 of the fish stew bowls, which were packed with different fish/seafood and utterly delicious. The hanging kebab was excellent and we all said we would return.

Trippets Lounge Bar is the establishment for fizz, gin, dining and jazz in Sheffield. We are an award-winning independent bar in the heart of âThe Steel Cityâ on the renowned Trippet Lane; a short walk from the Cathedral, the City Hall and the Peace Garde
Trippets has restored some faith in having an evening out in Sheffield. Couldn't have asked for a better night out. I was out with my daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed the night. We booked a week beforehand and our table was ready on arrival, it was ours for the evening. A table for two right by the window. We were as faraway from where the band were playing as you could get but it made for great background music as we dined. The menu was mouthwatering and lived up to expectations. We shared three nibbles, four plates and had a different dessert each. Although the dessert defeated the daughter! What incredible flavours we experienced, all well presented and just the right portion sizes. The cheddar & leek bites with Cumberland sauce was particularly outstanding. I myself drank the bottled bitter, my daughter had a couple of gins from "the gin bible". Again faultless. The great thing about it all was that you could order your plates as and when you were ready to eat. There was no rush what so ever, no one coming over "are you ready to order, are you ready to order?" It took us almost three hours to complete our meal.Afterwards we popped into the bar for a drink and listened to the swing band. A group of students from the Uni swing society were there dancing their socks off. It was great to watch. Even better was the bill when it arrived. Take off the £20 deposit and we were left with a meagre £53 to pay between us. Fantastic value I thought for a fantastic experience. The only down side to visiting Trippets was that I'll now have to take the wife next time.

FOOD : SERVICE : DRINK Our unassuming restaurant is tucked in the Rafters on the corner of Oakbrook Road just 10 minutes from town centre. Relaxed Sheffield hospitality with food cooked & served by a team that genuinely care. 2 AA Rosettes Michelin listed
Rafters, a tiny upstairs 'fine dining' restaurant in a suburb, uses imaginative methods of cooking and sauces. Our amuse bouche, first course, fish and duck main course, and cheese were all excellent. The staff were very young but professional and knowledgeable about the wine and food, as well as appropriately charming. Their marking of it being our 48th wedding anniversary was delightful. The loos were clean and pleasant. The downside? Far too small portions, and NO fruit and veg at all in my dinner, a minute amount in my husband's (5 a day???). This is a Yorkshire fault I know, but they do need to struggle against their provincial roots if they are to succeed in being 'fine dining'.
