Wenn Minuspunkte möglich wären, würde ich diese geben.Nach 1,5 Stdn. Warten auf das Mittagessen mit kleinem Kind und keinerlei Nachfragen zu Getränken vom Service haben wir uns entschieden ohne zu essen,zu gehen. Auf der Abrechnung des verdatterten Inhabers waren nur Getränke... vielleicht haben wir nur deshalb gewartet, weil der Service unsere Bestellung nicht weiter gegeben hat. Die Wartezeit war für die anderen Gäste gleichlang, jedoch verliessen andere Gäste mit Essen auf dem Tisch das Restaurant ohne zu essen. Bitte einen weiten Bogen um das derzeitige Konzept und Inhaber machen.

When you visit the southern part of the Black Forest, stop by this jewel right at the Schluchsee. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in Black Forest style, not overdone, but welcoming. The menu is reduced, focusing on Swiss roast potatoes with different meats or toppings. They also serve salads and steaks. Great desserts incl Black Forest cake. Also a good choice for traditional coffee and cake.The service is very friendly and competent.Recommend!

My favourite for many years now: unsurpassed Wiener Schnitzelmade from proper veal, with fantastic Bratkartoffel and a fresh salad. Excellent salad with fresh Pfifferlinge, too! Good, well selected wines from the region - and all that in a lovely traditional Schwarzwaldhaus or outside in the beautiful small Biergarten surrounded by flowers. It comes with very friendly service, too. That's why we come back over and over again. Thank you!

Since reviewing Bierhaeusle two years ago, we've visited a few times. It has been invariably excellent. Back in the area for the northern summer and made it here as quickly as possible. We weren't disappointed. The food, once again was delicious. The menu is not broad, but what they do is great. Very fair prices, friendly owners, food is great, wine is good and fairly priced .... I'm not sure what else you can ask for. Eat here. Thank you so much, we are very happy that you returned and were not disappointed, all the best wishes for you and perhaps see you again one day;))))

From the outside the restaurant does not look incredibly inviting. However the interior does not look like much either. Why go here? Go for the food and the friendly down to earth honest service. This restaurant has a heart and a soul. A good menu everything is cooked from scratch. The staff is extremely well trained. Personal wishes are fulfilled. This time I enjoyed the wild garlic (Bärlauch) maultaschen. Delicious and well made. he wild garlic soup was good perphas a little less salt for my tasting but all together this was really good. I give only one star for the friendly staff and another for the nice location. Everything is not worth at all. Food was very expensive and not worth at all for this price. There is a menu with ice creams and pictures of them which do not look at all what you will get.Really disappointed.

Maybe as good as reviews, but was turned away from huge empty restaurant by inattentive staff as not open to non residents. Not even asked when we would want to come. Couldnât be bothered. Itâs out of the way so donât waste time going.

Lovely location overlooking the Schluchsee. Plenty of nice things to chose from on the menu. Very tasty and well presented. However the waiter appeared to be 'elsewhere'. We did not get the wine we ordered (though the one he brought was excellent). He brought my wife the wrong fish main course which she enjoyed (this then caused a problem on the next table as they had to wait for a further fish to be cooked). For the dessert courses we noted that not only did he get them the wrong way round for us but also for the two other couples present. He tried to be helpful but appeared to be having an 'off' day! Otherwise a lovely meal in a lovely setting.

We stayed in Schluchsee and saw this restaurant was busy. On warm days it was lovely to sit outside. The pizzas were great with options for both meat and veggies. The fabri pizza had salami and was lovely and juicy. Whilst a little slow to order the pizzas were on the table within 20 mins of sitting down. Overall, well worth a visit and we would return.

Very nice restaurant near and with views to the lake. Very good well prepared and presented food from a good varied menu and drinks/beer/wine list. Staff very friendly and helpful, make you feel right at home. Thanks for a lovely meal. Deserves itâs good rating. Highly recommended.
